If the release for the game is right and STO is really dead last in the league in passing D, I am looking forward to the game even more.

Olaf has been running a 4-6D.  That is not a great defense against the pass.  I think with Hutchins they might go to playing 4DBs.  If Hutchins is still out then look for the 4-6.  Olaf wants you to throw the football.  Most people that know even the most basic parts of football know the key to a great offense is the ability to run the ball.  SJU can throw the ball all day long if they want.  The best QBs complete 2/3 of their passes, throw an interception or two, and have 3 TD passes.  SJU will have to run the ball.  Can they do it with 8 in the box?

I said it before the season began that if SJU gets by their first game they would go undefeated in the regular season.
SJU in a monKey stomp. The Johnnies can't wait till STO puts the ball in he air. Whats the record picsĀ in a single game?

Our new Librarian is from Minn. She did her undergrad work at St. Mary's at Notre Dame. Her uncle is retired and a big fan of the Johnnies so when they come to Mactown he'll have a place to stay.

If Olaf puts 8 in the box Koefed goes for 300 in the first half.  Won't need to play in the second half.

Thats what I was thinking ROR, why would you need to run when you can run up 35 points through the air and your D is the best in the conference?   I would have to give the Oles fans credit for being optimistic about tomorrow, however the MonkeystompTM is inevitable....

Ole puts eight in the box and the biggest danger is Kofoed slipping on his own drool.

Two coolers are loaded and ready to go.  More red cups have been purchased.  The wild rice sausages are packed and ready to roll.  I'll bring another table along, too, JR.

The charcoal leftover from last week needs lighter fluid which I did not have.  I bought one 8 lb bag of ready light charcoal but if that isn't enough you may want to bring one more bag, JR.  Also, we may need another grill if as this may be one of our biggest events ever.

I'll be arriving at 9 a.m. for the festivities.  See you all then.

Johnnies will roll all over the Oles in less than 13 hours.
Go Johnnies!!!

Hopefully they have been watering Clemens down since sundown tonight and they let the grass grow for the past 2 months...oh wait....

It's 4 AM and I am wrapping up my Dome Day edit. Then off to Collegeville! I'll see everyone at the festivites and good luck to both teams tomorrow!

farley: Shouldn't Monkeystomp be a SM rather than a TM?

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

KR,
One thing I found out when I quit drinking was that when I woke up in the morning I knew I wouldn't feel any better all day long.

GO JOHNNIES

I won't be in Collegeville, and I can't be listening to the game, so have a great injury free day to all teams, and GO JOHNNIES!

Kilted Rat: Please refer to EngiNegros 8 levels of hangover post. It sounds as if you have a Level 3....you'll be fine. We all know you have had many worse in your SJU days! ;)

On another note to KR, 57 Johnnie & SJU56321: The use of rally beers will not be required today! A better idea is to each keep 3 of said beers on ice & use 1) Today as a celebration beer. 2)Use another in 2 weeks to celebrate the win over the Tommies 3)Keep the lastĀ  for a rally if needed during the play off run. :D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

It is nice to be able to run the ball, but St. John's has had a few games this year where the passing game has opened up the running game or the running game simply hasn't worked.  I doubt you can find a post this year in which I have called the O "great".  If Alex can throw for 3 TD's, I like our odds, even if we can't run the ball.  Against Concordia we had -17 rushing yards, +12 if you take out sacks - and it wasn't that SJU did try to run the ball.  Guaranteed win?  No, I have said it would be a good game all week, but I think SJU will win.  I will stick to that.  I would look at this from another angle and say if SJU can run the ball, STO will be in trouble.
