In fact, even though BU are probably ten point underdogs to LIN, I give BU some good 'favourable winds' chances because I think that game will be more open.  Better chances of momentum swings where anyone can take it.

Some Linfield posters have been saying they're the team to beat! I hope Roste is healthy & that gives them all/more than they can handle to make the MIAC proud!

Who is saying that? Linfield fans knows this weekend is a toss up vs Bethel.

Jays haven't faced many great d-lines this year and, if Wartburg's is as good as the Iowegians advertise, then Mags should let someone else slice the pepperoni this week, find a cot in the Palestra and have that o-line ready for its toughest test of the season. I watched how SJU struggled against a physical Cobber front and that was rough.

Geebli is getting going for Bethel. I know Kunkle is a Sr and has been a very solid back for us for 2-3 years now, but Geebli should be getting better than 50/50 snaps. He's just as physical, and is a much more elusive and explosive runner. His emergence and BU utilizing him more intentionally takes pressure off Roste and the passing attack. He had some really impressive runs against Wheaton, does not look like a freshman and is very fresh given how sparingly we've used him to this point.

Ice says Geebli looked very good yesterday and was a huge part of that W. Ice says the Royals will need all of him next week to support Roste and the O if they are going to beat Linfield.

Ice is feeling Bethel will need to get out to a quick lead like yesterday to defeat the Wildcats. He feels it could be a bit of a shootout (as long as Roste stays healthy and in the game) and one that Bethel will have to be in front of for most of the game if they are to win. Ice thinks if they fall behind by any more than a score they'll have trouble getting on top. Honestly Ice believes the Bethel D is going to have to really win this game.

Did the ncaa forget to announce the home teams?

The Vikes have been on TV down here a lot lately.  Last week's game against Buffalo was the most exciting game I had seen in years.  Today's game against Dallas is going as expected.

Apparently not.  The brackets at d3football.com have had the * removed.  It's an SJU home game.  Time to cook them 'burgers.

yeah, about that ... it has not been pretty.

What's the NFL equivalent of a Monkey Stomp? 13 points?

https://go-knights.net/sports/football/stats/2022 —> initially thought they'd be a heavy run team their stats point to a balanced offense. A DL has a sack total similar to Woz. A big LB leads their team in tackles (comparable to Bjork) as well as INTs. They've got a big TE at 6'5", so I guess we'll get an idea of what facing Larson is like. Not a lot of rushing yards out of the QB, so perhaps a little less of a scrambling threat than we've seen from teams this season?

Strikes me as a game of attrition and who's offense can wear out the other's defense.

Interesting post-game BU interview with Coach J, Roste, Williams, and Kunkle - for those interested and haven't already seen it.

Same question.  I haven't seen anything like that from the Lindfield posters.  Some obtuse/incomprehensible posts but nothing saying they're the team to beat.

Fixed that for you.  I think they need to lay off the weed.
