Might want to talk to a urologist if you have a leaky D.

Wrong medical specialty, but this scene from Fletch popped into my head.

I see the Vikings are sucking early this season.

How about some old school Johnnie Magic to make everyone feel better? Especially since it involves Tommies getting screwed.

The 1994 classic. Johnnies coming off homecoming loss to Hamline. Down to 3rd string QB in Kurt Ramler. Trail 28-13 at half. Take the lead 35-34 when Matt Malmberg has great TD run though he also stepped out of bounds (2:16.21 mark). Then with 3 minutes left Tommies get it inside Johnnies 10. They complete a pass and the tight end breaks the plane for a TD...except refs say he didn't. Pretty clearly did. Oops. On 3rd and goal at the 1 Johnnies stuff them. And then block an 18-yard field goal. This propelled Johnnies on to national semifinals where they lost heartbreaker to Albion. And of course started Ramler on his three-year journey as a Johnnies legend. Whole game is a fun watch but here's the ending.

Also Gagliardi coached it from a wheelchair as he broke his leg when a player had run into him during practice.

Wow, what an epically bad call by the official  :o That was an obvious TD. Also some terrible blocking up front on the FG attempt for UST.

My first Johnnie-Tommie game! I was a freshman and I rode a fan bus down to the game.

Head Linesman was out of position on that play. When the ball is inside the 5-yard-line, the Head Linesman/Line Judge's first move after the snap needs to be to cover the goal line and then work your way back if the ball doesn't cross.

I don't know how I haven't really addressed this but I think the absence of David Geebli will make it harder for the passing game this weekend. I'm assuming Bolt will get the nod and really hoping for some decent QB play that will lead to some confidence and cohesiveness on the O side of the ball. Let's go Royals!

Nothing wrong with that call...official called it perfectly from my perspective!

With three-quarters of the non-con games played, the MIAC is setting with a record of 10 and 5. I think 3 of tomorrow's games will tip to the MIAC as well - either of the two games against WIAC opponents might become "a fly in the ointment" in regards to the non-con record this year. Could we sweep tomorrow's games - maybe, hopefully - but it's why we play the games, right?

(I'll be out on the range in North Branch, MN punching holes into the sky tomorrow afternoon, but I'll be checking in on my phone.)

That's some impressive video production for 1994 D3 football.

Was that Hamline game a one point loss because the Johnnies went for two? I recall an option to Malmberg being unsuccessful.

John loved running the option in short yardage situations.
