And I thought medical students actually had to study-congrats KR ;D

On a more serious note, Johnnie Esq, I need some pessimisim for Saturday's game-will Kofoed be the QB to lead SJU to the win and the National Championship or will he be replaced a few games into the season?

Finsleft, I wasn't putting any bad guys away. I was out getting my run in with a Stevens Point grad.
Shame on you. On County time? ;)

Veek and Finsleft, I trust one of you can bring an extra grill and some charcoal along. Thanks.

I'll just bring my tools so we can put yours together the right way.  :D

Congrats KR!

Congratulations on 3,000. You are one of a kind!
Keep 'em coming.

HOW MANY MINNESOTA COLLEGE STUDENTS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?

1. At Bemidji State University, none, Bemidji doesn't have electricity
yet.

2. At Bethel, it takes none. They don't screw.

3. At Carleton, it takes two. One to change the bulb and one to
explain how they did it every bit as well as any Ivy Leaguer.

4. At Concordia, it takes ten. One to figure out how to screw it in,
nine to find an ugly enough lampshade to match their school colors.

5. At Gustavus, it takes six. One to change it, two to mix the drinks
and three to find the perfect J. Crew outfit to wear for the occasion.

6. At St. Kate's, it takes seven and each one gets four semester
credit hours for it.

7. At Hamline, it takes three. One to change the bulb and two to phone
a friend at St. John's to get instructions.

8. At Macalester, it takes four. One to screw in the bulb and three to
figure out how to get high off the old one.

9. At Mankato State University, it takes 1, but it takes him 6 years.

10. At Moorhead State University, it takes 3, one to change it and 2
to crack under the pressure.

11. At St. Ben's, it takes 4,one to change the light bulb and 3 to
figure out how it will help them meet their future husband.

12. At St. John's, it takes none. We get the Young Tommie Sluts to do
it for us, and they make us lasagna.

13. At St. Mary's, it takes five. One to change it and four to talk
about how they would have done it in Chicago.

14. At St. Olaf, it takes 100. One to change it, 49 to talk about how
they do it better than Carleton, and 50 who realize it's all a lie.

15. At St. Thomas, it takes eight. One to change it and 7 to bitch
about how they wouldn't have gone to St. John's/St. Ben's even if they
could have gotten in.

16. At University of MN St Paul, none, down town St. Paul looks better
in the dark.

17. At University of MN Twin Cities, 4, one to change the bulb, and
three to write up a complaint to the Board of directors stating that
they could have gone to a better school If they had wanted.

18. At the University of MN Duluth, the whole student body, there's
nothing else to do in Duluth on the weekends.

19. At University of MN Morris, it takes 1; he just holds the bulb and
waits for the world to revolve around him.

20. At Winona State University, it takes 3, one to change it and 2 to
figure out how to turn it on.

21.At St. Cloud State University, "who gives a F**K ... let's drink in
the dark!!!"

Tmerton, Your K has stayed over 100 for quite some time. The smite deamons must have forgot about you. When does the champagne flight to Cville take off?

Not gone; I still get my daily from the sniper.  The flight leaves around midnight and lands before six, so we get only a little over 3 hours to even try to sleep.  I may have to catch a few winks in the PA.   8)

Hey, KR - what's the most karma you've collected in a day?  You'll undoubtedly break your record with all the love you're spreading today.  ;)

I always loved that one!

Sorry, Common's on the radio and I think it's starting to get to me.

So, what's the plan for the Catholic double-header on Sat?  (SJU in the AM and Notre Dame at night)  Anyone sticking around to watch the game in St. Joe?
I didn't do it....yet.

Any recommendations on good places to eat and watch the ND game in the area - St. Joe, St. Cloud, whatever?  Food choices would have to include steaks or other red meat.

Happy 3,000th KR....you'll probbaly hit 30,000 by the time Gags retires
If the good Lord's willing and the creeks don't rise!
I have a feeling rotations and then residency as well as a potential deployment overseas could take their toll on my posting!

KR, congrats on making it to 3000, for everything you bring to this board and for your kind comments. One more reason why Johnnies are so special, at least in the eyes of their mothers! ;) Just ask TDT.
Thanks Godfather! Anytime you need burger driven cross country overnight, you know who to call!

KR, Congrats - but you forgot to toast your college advisor who (mis)directed you into medicine instead of a calling more aligned with your skills in grandiloquent expression.  I hope they've fired him by now.   :D

Thanks! He was actually featured in the latest SJU alumni magazine for his great work as a teacher :) Once I'm done with my navy obligations, I'll consider your advice, with a physician's license and experience, I would imagine I could do all right for myself in malpractice law ::)

Congrats on 3000 KR, you truly have less of a social life than I previously thought.

I'm stuck at work with nothing but my laptop from 11:30 until 5:30 today. Tell Ronald I said hi and I'll be by for dinner, yes I would like fries with that  ;D

KR, Congrats on #3,000. Enjoy your computer browsing time while it lasts. I suspect it will dwindle significantly in the years to come!
Thanks. Once rotations start (Tuesday) I suspect my browsing time will diminish as quickly as Bethel's annual playoff hopes and then it will continue to be low for some time unfortunately.

I'm almost done with my last summer break ever. Starting Tuesday I will be doing a Radiology rotation at United Hospital in St Paul and I'll have reading and stuff to do again. I studied hard all spring and took my boards early for the specific purpose of having this summer free to be irresponsible and  stuff.

Say hi to Mrs Coco for me as well!

Not sure. I took a heckuva jump when I found out I passed my boards. I was at 406 to start the day I believe.

I've been making sure you get your daily dose of Vitamin k+ to counteract any sniper activity.

Finally I am done with spreading Vitamin k+ to every poster on the last 3 pages of every conference board in the North, South, East, and most importantly West regions.
My estimate is 200+ K's were handed out. Next time I'll just do the front page of every conference!

That's a tough call.  There is always Anton's but there's no TV's in the restaurant, but good food.

mmmm....popovers...ok, that's my fat kid moment of the day.

There are TV's at the bar.

Granite City is a great place to get burgers and beers and they have about 500 TVs.

Was just gonna mention Granite City. Food is pretty good. There's also the Ground Round (sit in the bar area), Old Chicago, O'Hara's, Buffalo Wild Wings (white meat), Outback, Timberlodge, Bear Creek, all near your hotel.

JohnnieLax02

KR Thanks,

There is DB Serle's in DT St. Cloud too, they have pretty good food as well.

But Granite City is more the sports bar kind of place.

Worst case scenario is BW3.  You know you can catch it there.

I seem to remember Granite City being closed for renovations last time I was through St. Cloud.  Maybe someone local can confirm this???
