Checked three different forecasts. They range from steady rain and a high of 63 to partly cloudy and a high of 70. Let's hope the last one is the most accurate.
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

News bulletin from the Johnnie Underground and Bob Wicker:

Dear Readership -

So it might rain a little tomorrow.  Big deal.  Bring an umbrella and some plastic to cover your legs — and get on up/over to Collegeville.  We're off to a promising new season...and we're going to honor Rich Hall '63 too.  St. John's will unveil a plaque recognizing Rich's unique contributions to Johnny Spirit and, after the game, host a reception at Br. Willie's Pub in Sexton Commons that is open to all, especially those willing to sample some Ole Johnnie Ale, specially brewed for St. John's as part of our sesquicentennial celebration.  The idea of the ale, said to be quite delicious, is the brainchild of St. John's Prep and some Prep grads who tasted something like 20 different formulations (or even more...they are Johnnies, you know) before deciding that the best was to become Ole Johnnie Ale.  I sure hope that many of you will come.

However, for some of you otherwise scheduled in the Cities, you can hear the action on WLOL 1330-AM; in Central Minnesota there's a new main carrier: WBHR-660 AM (The Bear); and new this year also is KOWZ-1170 AM broadcasting to southern Minnesota (COWS, get it!).  Apparently WBHR has some affiliates up north and west in the state, so nearly all Minnesota can follow the Cardinal and the Blue.

As long as the grills are burning and the red cups are flowing, it could be a torrential downpour and I'd be cool...oh yeah, I guess there will be a football game too.  I'm glad I didn't trek on over for the St. Cloud State game last night...sleeping was a much better option.
Heaven isn't too far away,
Closer to it every day

Yesterday was a damn good day.

My Blue Devil squad beat the STATESMEN 25-18.

But the huge news was when the doctor called my beautiful blonde wife of 26 years and let us know that her biopsy came back ok!!

We had been sweating out the news of possible cancer for almost a week. Duff was perceptive enough to sense the stress in me somehow.

Anyway, it's good news and +k all around!!

ps: Is anyone surprised that my wife is a blonde?  ;)  :D

Isn't that a photo of your wife in your avatar???

Not that far off, Duff! My spouse is a little older than the lovely Lisa, but she looks as good to me.  :)

I am soooo happy that you wife  is fine.  Having sweated out something similar to that years ago,  I do know what you all have been through and I greatly empathize.  My best to her.  Life is good!

Now let's all go write a check to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Cancer Society....your choice!

Just read my horoscope for today via MSN.com.

Told me to cash it in for today and go back to bed.  :-\

But I have a lot of sh*t to do.  :P

Good thing I don't believe in horoscopes.  :D

And to think that my horoscope yesterday told me to cash it in and go back to bed!  :D

You nailed it right on the head fbf413.

Duff, I think we should cut that tree down and then get drunk.  :D

BDB,
Great to hear your wife is cleared! +k to her, but since she doesn't have a moniker, +k to her vicariously through you ;D  See you in 8 days!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.
