I have seen photos from numerous sources now, and it is obvious that there was

A) No cheating involved, and
B) I WAS NOT Hurling........ :D

i have to give a huge thanks for Veek's dad, who stopped my wife from giving my son some of the Kool-Aid!!!  My bad not to warn her about the analgesic effects of Fins's Kool-aid.......

As an eye witness, I would say it was ritz in a Monkey Stomptm
With a little training by ritz I predict a Double Money Stomptm

In defense of Duffman and Frank, they did not have much recovery time from the
preliminary round in which they participated.  Veek's only excuse is age.   8)

Let the kid live a little.    ;D

Thanks for the quick response Johnnie fans. I am hoping that your thoughts are correct. I would like the Cobbs to get a big win and then win out and receive a playoff bid.

I am hoping that the Cobbers can match up with the J's again somewhere in the playoffs (west region finals preferrably) and have another classic match up.
Best of luck to you guys in two weeks vs. the Tommies.

I think ritz used a performance enhancing supplement and should be thoroughly tested.

Duffman, have you gotten the Hamm's out of your shoes yet?

I think we may have raised the bar for future Stiftungfestivities after the events of last Saturday.

Shoes,
That was an awesome entrance! Hard to beat seeing Tommies Suck and the fans holding the banner cheering loudly. The roar gradually spread across the SJU side as more and more people caught on!

Great stat from MIAC Maniac's Aticle in the Sporting News: http://www.collegesportingnews.com/article.asp?articleid=73822

QuoteThe Johnnies racked up 307 yards in total offense in the second quarter alone, despite only having possession of the ball for 5:19.

That's .96 yards of offense per second of offensive posession! That has to be some sort of record! If it isn't, 6.56 points per minute of possession has to be.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Okay Johnnie fans, I am asking for an unbiased opinion here.  Obviously you guys rolled STO, but what is the threat for the Cobbs this saturday? STO must have some ability if they only have one loss.

Ole fans, are your guys going to come out ready to go saturday, or are they pretty down after the whipping they received in Collegeville.

M&G:
Is your squad still in the MSHSL Section playoffs?  If so keep up the good work.

Cobbs will be victorious this weekend but I can't see them rolling in the fashion SJU did.  First off - even if their opposition is inferior Horan would never let it get that far (I can remember a game my senior year we were pasting Carleton 35-0 at end of 1st qtr and don't believe we scored over 50 that game).  Secondly, unless Olaf can't tackle, Concordia's offense isn't quick-scoring like SJU.  Also, If there is a place where a decent team can look foolish it would be Collegeville.  I'm expecting a non-MonkeyStompTM victory by the Cobbs...convincing but not a beat-down.

I will stick with previous prediction...

Cobbs 31

For a while on Saturday, this was most definitely the case.

KR: that entrance was my favorite for two reasons. 1) Because you Rat Packers asked a few of us to help you with it. 2) Because I had never experienced sitting in the middle of a hostile crowd while Football Jesus scored not one, but two long touchdowns. I can't believe we didn't blow our cover early. NOT cheering for Blake was really freaking hard to do.
Nice day, huh?

Nelly, We got the Section Finals this friday in the Alerus.

I tend to agree with your predictions and views about this saturday's game.

Have a good story about Dutch letters, JR, involving a few Oles and a political connection!

sfury- I believe Grant was asked if he wanted the job before UST hired Roney and Grant turned it down.  I have a hard time thinking that Grant would take a job at UST and give up his stability at Eden Prairie.  But if so, there is so much consolation in knowing the Johnnies are running the Tommies...

Dave Nelson, on the other hand, is my pick, although I don't believe he's a Tommy.

So did Wilsey's mediocre performance pull him out of contention for the MIAC MVP?

You refering to the descent down the Palaestra?
If so, that was 2002 & the Johnnies Rolled! 2003 was at UST & Keller scored all the points ???

We were doing a mighty 'Tommies Suck!' chant in '93.  Leaves were shaking off the leaves across the gridiron.  After the third round, a feeble, but humilating, response comes drifting back across the turf ... 'Johnnies Swallow!'.  I had no idea that Thommies were creative.

Two Weeks of build up and posting up to the St. Thomas game!!!  Will more than likely be more interesting than the game itself!!!!

The game is at UST, so that means only the 1st and 2nds are making the trip!!!!

If you think STO was bad defensively, wait until you see the malady that is the UST Defense!!!!

As far as the "prominent high school coach" who the alumni with $$ are backing, you can bet it is Dave Nelson.....I wouold think Grant is only interested in one DIII job!

Frank,  Check out the ground behind the annex, close to the air conditioner unit.  It may be a mixed sample, but you and Duff are smart enough to figure it out!!!! ;D
