Did I mention the Twins are now tied for the AL Central lead?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Farley, had to finish off beer #4 quick before heading in. Time to brush my teeth and turn on the smooth. :-*
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Go Twins!  Go Twins!

I think I might make a special trip to the cities just so I can BOOOOO the crap out of A.J.

Hell, go to the Auggie Tech/Cobber game, then to the Metrodome for a twinkies game.  Can it be any better?

Oh yes, I might just buy a pack of Hamms to drink between games!

SUMMIT!!!!!

man, what a fun game tonight...I am so glad I decided to go and watch Bad Brad in his final regular season start....he looked awesome. Twins played great defense as always, and Mauer's HR was so sweet!

The good thing is (hopefully) KC is now energized enough to win a game (or 2?) from DET to help us take the Division.

I'd say we will use Radke in Gm 3 and Garza in Gm 4, if needed (thank god, no Silva)

nice but not impressive crowd, but those of us there made enough noise that you'd have thought it was almost a sell out.

Cobbernation-- You'll have to drink really fast to put down a 6 pack between Sat's Twins game and the Cobber game at Auggie... you might have 10 minutes, at most.

I dont know if KR could put 6 away in the short time span you'll have  :D  (maye ROR could shotgun it?  naw  ::) )

Got a few headshots up on the member page.  I'll add the pics Sunday.

Dusty has agreed to write the homecoming recap.  He also promised to capture a pic of Kennedy eating a Stiffy Burger.  Unless ROR kills Kennedy before he gets it to his mouth.

I must head north.

Happy Trails,

oAs.

oAs,

I won't kill MK before he eats his burger.  I'd be happy to prepare and serve it to him. 8)

OAS, will you ever change my pic so that people don't think I'm a skinny, black kid?  When they show up and meet an obese, black guy, they never recognize DuffMan.

Duffman, I will get the batch with your headshot to OAS in the next few days.

Man, photoshop can be a lot of fun. ;D

Still no love for the Royal faithful on that site?  Page 1111 has a HOT picture of me!

MR, I might have a shot of you from last year.  If so, I'll send it to OAS.

Here are my thoughts on the game (ooh, I noticed everyone lean forward in their seats!  Thanks!):

The D will come out big and play playoff type football.  They will be on the CC offense like flys on stink.  Very frustrating for the CC O and it will show as they hang their heads after every three and out.

The Johnnie O will start slowly and make two lame turnovers up until five minutes into the second quarter, at which point they will bust out with two quick T's.  Second half witnesses the well-oiled Johnny machine that stomps (or worse) the Learned Bookies.

This will all be due to mental prep.  CC will be expecting too much having an ex-Johnnie coaching.  They'll think they have it down.  Won't happen.  Four times out of five, SJU is up for the big game.  Especially MIAC games.  Only one MIAC team a year gets to have the hoodoo on the Johnnies and Cord just took that opportunity.  I'm afraid from here on out it's Johnnies all the way.

I'd say SJU has the "hoodoo" on concordia after pulling out two wins in the fourth quarter at the jake.
If St. John's hangs onto the ball they'll probably destroy Carleton.  congrats.

Going to be a great day on Saturday as the twins win, the gophs keep the brown jug and notre dame gets trounced by purdue.  heck, I'll be happy if one of those comes true, because the irish will still lose their bowl game, and the gophs will probably disappoint again even if they beat the wolverines.

Yes-thanks.  Nice work, ROR - and nice to see the festivities on the 9th and some of the members I didn't meet at the first game on the 2nd.  Thanks and +k for a week.  8)

Nice article about SJU's Primus in the Daily Planet.

Other notes from the article:
» Senior defensive tackle Steve LeVoir sat out practice earlier this week with a strained tricep, but returned Thursday. Senior defensive end Kevin McNamara missed practice Tuesday with a hyperextended elbow, but returned Wednesday. Both players are expected to play Saturday.

» Junior Sean Mase, a scout team offensive player, was cited for underage consumption and providing false information to police officers while attending the Johnnies' game at Concordia last week in Moorhead. Mase was not a member of the travel team and was attending the game on his own. He has not appeared in a game this season and appeared in one game last year. When reached Thursday night, he confirmed the incident had taken place and said he is no longer a member of the team. Johnnies offensive coordinator Jim Gagliardi would not comment on what disciplinary action was taken. But Mase said his locker has been cleaned out.

"I want to apologize to the St. John's community for my actions and I wish the football team all the best," Mase said.

» The Johnnies boast a record of 23-0 against Carleton.

The series dates back to 1983.
