Who determines whether it is a single, double, or triple Monkey Stomp?

Pretty much John Gagliardi.

RHB,
It takes 21 points per STOMP but if you shut out the other team it's a STOMPOUT!

ROR- I really feel that going up 21 on a team in a quarter should be a stompede.

So I'm wondering if we have any Auggie posters left on this board?  I guess the banter on the WIAC has kept me happy this week.  LAB, any thoughts on the game this Friday?  I'm very happy they moved the game to friday making it possible for me to go to south bend for the ND vs. Tenn game saturday.

RHB,
I should have said 21 points more than the other team per STOMP
;D

Is Gallaudet http://www.d3football.com/opendates.php?get&date=2006-11-11 going to pull a Northwestern style double header next year?   :o

I haven't heard anything of it.

Then again, neither have they.

(Wow.  There goes my karma, eh?)

Speaking of WIAC posting - I notice that it isn't just the intra-WIAC bluster you would normally expect, but a bit of inter-conference trash talking as well.  They seem to go to town on Linfield and SJU.  Especially the WW athletic supporters.

The playoffs will be a fun time - I hope we line up against WW.  Even better, I hope CC play WW.  That would be a game claiming title to 'King of Tough Guy Football'.  After getting beat by SJU, CC will be looking for a big name to take it to.  Would be a great game.

Speaking of CC, knights was right.  I have matured in my football parochialism over the years.  I find myself cheering for CC this weekend.  I think they will win big, but not neccessarily in the score.  CC'll run the ball up and down the field, grinding STO into the ground.  It will be a 'they never looked like losing' scenario, even if the final score is less than a stomp, which I believe it will be.

Well, I thought I'd get a better reaction from Bus Driver than I did, but then again, from what he writes on here, that's what I should have expected!
I'm not sure how many of you are players on here, put for those that are, not looking at the scores or records, who's the toughest defense you played this year, in all aspects of defensive play?

johnnie_esq

I would love to see the WIAC reaction if SJU, after its win over STO, a regionally ranked opponent according to the NCAA, bumps ahead of WW in tomorrow's region ranking!  ;)

I will bet, however, the NCAA keeps the status quo for the top few in the West, so as to justify moving UWW to the "North" region.  Otherwise, it would be a hard press for the NCAA to justify moving the 3rd team in the West to the 1st team in the North!

SJU could finish with three wins over ranked opponents, if CC win this weekend and UWEC win their remaining games.  If that happened, I wouldn't be surprised to see UWEC make it into the rankings as the highest two loss team.
