BUdefense

I didnt mean on a weekly basis, but i'm saying in HS we played in front of 7,000 one time and 4,000 a couple others, but playing in the Lake helped that.

QuoteEither way, the Gophers are at a distinct disadvantage recruiting against them, but obviously their success is cyclical, too.

I can see how you would still put PSU in the top 10 programs based off of tradition. I am hard pressed to think of other teams that have that kind of history, although Joe-Pa, despite the brief resurgence last year, needs to hang it up in my opinion. And as far as the gophers go, I am LOVING seeing them struggle. every year the star trib talks them up and then they go to the Music City bowl every year. Good times. The biggest issue they have is being addressed now with a new stadium (if i have to choose between 20,000 in a run down relic or 110,000 in Columbus, I think thats a no-brainer). Also, the level of recruiting in the midwest just isnt enough for the gophers to draw talent from. The Ohio region has a lot of talent, but with a few exceptions, most athletes in Minnesota go the hockey route, and the few studs we do have go to Mich, OSU, ND, or even Nebraska (Swift, Murtha)

JR - it pains me to say this but I will not be able to make it to the game tomorrow.  I've got the flu and have to be in Green Bay next Monday through Wednesday so tomorrow is out for sure.  I'll be listening to the game on the radio and cheering everyone on, though.

I hope that someone else can step up to the plate and help JR out with the grilling and bringing some brats to share.

I'll see everyone at the BU game.

GO JOHNNIES!!!
Go Johnnies!!!

The GAC players, past and present are all ugly and stupid.  Except Frank Rickard and Mongolian Warrior of course.

Thought I was going to have throw down for a second there, until I saw the exeption.

Been away from the board for some time, mainly because 1) my hopes for a great GAC season isn't going as planned and 2) sting rays are apparently taking over the world, one by one:

GAC better wail on MAC because Frank and I have already drank enough to try to forget the losses.  I'm outtie 5000 keep it sleazy.
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job

ROR-I guess you can have my seat tomorrow-again my son plays football in the afternoon, so I will miss the game. I am planning to make it up in November if SJU is able to make the playoffs and hosts. :)

Touchdown Tommy

Is everyone saving their bullets for the Tommies?  Stiffyfestivities attendees are dropping like flies...

56321: Your posts today will result in less than timely game updates tomorrow afternoon.

TC: 5 star post per is usual.  I still think the J's have a shot at the #1 seed.  UWW has to go on the road to Mary Hardin Baylor on Nov. 4.  Big weekend in the west region as Whitworth is at Linfield that day as well.

Scrubby: Willy was rightfully calling you to task.  You claim to be this "unbiased" poster yet every post is slobbering all over the Bethel Royals.  Spare us.

Looks like a combination of Screech and TDT.

Damn you 56321 for stealing my line!

I'd agree with post that if STO is up by 28 points by half, it will be via of the air.  Honestly, I don't see that happening based on what I've seen from BU this year.  Someone mentioned that STO has only given up 4 sacks in 5 games, I do think BU has the players to pressure STO.  I think BU has to control the game running the ball.

Scrubby chimes in with yet another "unbiased" post. Foxnews could learn a lot from Scrubby's ability to avoid showing any bias ;D

Yes, BU has the players to pressure STO and SJU didn't. In other news, Scrubby just told me that Florida has more dairy cows than Wisconsin, but Wisconsin has warmer weather.

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Well, I'm off for the weekend...there probably won't be anything left of the Fargo area after this weekend

ROR- speaking of worried, how are things going for you. Was hoping you'd be up and around by now.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Well, Duffman will not be bailing on the Stiftungfestivities this weekend!  I'll be there by 10:00 or so.
