Boy, I away from my computer for a couple of days and practically had to read a novel to catch up! :D

I went to visit a friend this Sunday and she had an article on Gags that she had cut out of the New York Times for me a couple of weeks ago. Do I have my friends trained well or what? ;D Happy Birthday John!!!

I am a bit late on these favorites:

College Football: Notre Dame (now that Lou Holtz is gone! Hate that man!!), University of Oregon, Big Ten teams. I have/will cheer for Big Ten teams when they play the Ducks...don't tell my co-workers/friends! ;)

College Hockey: I don't have any one team that I cheer for, I just enjoy! I have a fondness for American born college educated hockey players in the NHL. Whenever one of my friends point out that a player went to SCSU, I tell them that I am not sure that counts as college educated! :P One of my favorites to mock is Tyler Arnason. When he played for the Blackhawks, his player profile listed his hobbies as tv. Don't even get me started on the Theo Fleury fiasco!! ;D

I don't watch Lacrosse.

Hockey is soccer on ice, and we all know how eveyone feels about that sport for orange slice eating, carpi sun sipping, trail mix munching sport

Early Rumors are in......

There will be a Ritz sightiing in collegville on the 11th.  I have procured a "Kitchen Pass" for the day!

I am already working on a new "Central Minnesota" cocktail to bless all of you with.  Don't worry MR, I will make a non-alcoholic version for all of the guests from Bethel as well.

Hopefully the Liberal Love Fest will no longer be in session, and we can actually get back to the basics at the Fest.......

JR, sorry about the 10th, but there are a few more mink out there I need to gas!

I just figured out that both UO and OSU have home games on Saturday afternoon! I-5 will be a joy! ;) What I won't go through for you guys just to report on the competition! ;D I don't know how good Whitworth is this year. It looks like they put up a bit of a fight the past couple of years. According to the forecast, I guess I will be digging out the raingear for the game!

Speaking of guys with the hot sugar momma wives hauling in the major coin and then blowing it, how about Sara Evans soon-to-be-ex?

Oct. 13, 2006 — Country singer and "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Sara Evans is alleging in divorce papers filed Thursday that her husband, Craig Schelske, cheated on her, drank excessively, was verbally and emotionally abusive, and often watched pornography in their house.

The 35-year-old Evans alleges that Schelske has photographs of himself having sex with other women, and that he has at least 100 nude photos of himself "in a state of arousal."

Evans also says that Schelske watched pornography on the couple's computer and made requests online for sex with multiple partners:o :o

She says this like it's a bad thing.  ???

I guess it's a bad thing when you give up Sara Evans in order to bang the nanny who looks like this.  :P

Ah, B96! One more reason Carver County is the place to be (the radio tower for the station is located here in Hollywood Township). All we have to do now is get Auggie Tech to open a campus in the township. Life would be so very good.

JR-  We might need to expand to the township.  We've got no space up here to expand, so why not Carver County.  We've got plans to build many, many more buildings on campus, only problem of this little thing called 94.  So, instead, we are getting rid of all our parking lots and constructing classroom space instead.  And we thought the limited parking spaces now were hard to get.....   By the way, after reading all of the posts in here re: Auggie's pre-game music, I'm rather disappointed.  At least in what has been played in the last couple of games, I've heard much more KS95 or 92 KQRS than anything that would make it on B96.  Apparently we've lost our Ghetto swagger.   Two left in the old man's career.  Just wishing I didn't have to play the last one in the dome.  I hate playing in that place.  Not only does it not have a D1 Big 10 atmosphere to is, it CERTAINLY doesn't have a D3 MIAC atmosphere to it.

D1 Football programs:  Boise State (wife's from Idaho, & I've been to a couple of games on the blue turf), Ohio State (not a band wagon guy - Dad and Grandpa are from Ohio, so have been stuck watching them since conception)  & The Gophers (It is so much fun to watch a team implode as bad as they do!)

D1 hockey: Clueless.  The U I guess.  I don't know a lot of hockey though.
Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

retagent

Mr Evans (Schelske) denies doing the nanny, says when he watched porno, it was with the Mrs, and says she is the one who strayed. I want to say, and I want everyone to listen, I did not have sax with that woman, Ms Evan, but I wanted to.

Is hockey Lacrosse on ice, or is Lacrosse hockey on grass. Neither have much in comon with soccer.

Bennie - How could you hate Lou?  He never pulled on your facemask, did he?  :o

I will always love Lou for providing me with a "USC free" life in LA - lived there for 10 years and never once had to listen to a Trojan brag about beating my team.  That experience (unknown to Pac 10 teams) is, like the Mastercard commercials say, priceless.  Thanks, Lou.  :-*

I know that head coaches are not always warm and fuzzy, but the way he treated his players just ticks me off!

I actually find Bobby Knight entertaining! :D

Tmerton,

I was frankly, a little bit suprised when reviewing the pages I missed, you had not mentioned the fact that the Ducks took care of the Trojans last Saturday! They have been living on the edge for too many weeks in a row for the good fortune to continue.

5 games to go inlcuding the last three of CAL, ND and UCLA! If they survive that stretch who knows where they end up in the BCS!
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run

You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Lone Auggie Backer, enjoy your final two games! Amazing how fast the college years go, especially if you are involved in sports. My son is a senior this year, also. Seems like only yesterday that we were traveling around the metro area every weekend for yet another AAU basketball tourney.
