Chris - did you pick up buns for your brats?  If not, let me know before 4:30 today and I'll pick some up.  Just let me know how many.  If you already got buns I'll go and get some other snacks for us prior to the grillfest.

Yes, I picked up 2 packages of buns.

My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.  (Yasmine Bleeth comment valid unless prohibited by your College's code of ethics for Alums)

I'm shooting for 9:30.  I need to make a pitstop at Cabela's on my way and they don't open till 8:00.

BDB - I'm not looking ahead until after tomorrow's game but I was wondering if there is a chance that you might be making a playoff appearance the following week at SJU?  You and Todd should consider coming over for another game.

By God, 11/18 is a hockey-free day!!! ;D

Distinct possibilty Veek!  :)

I'm on the Bethel train...whats the attendance estimate for tomorrow?  being it's for the championship is there need to arrive earlier than usual?  from the experienced SJU goers what would be a sufficient time to show up at the field by?  honest prediction...Bethel wins 20-17...

Considering that the usual for Bethel home games is to show up at 12:55, I would say, yes you should be there a little earlier than "usual".  However, SJU does have a nice sized visitor grandstand, so it will really depend on many fans Bethel brings.  I would think that attendance should approach 5 figures.

Chris;  Don't blow your bubble but there won't be anything close to 5 figures for tomorrow's tilt.  In '03 there was another drama playing out... it was the epilogue to "The Sweet Season"....  You'll see at the maximum tomorrow something approaching 4,500 folks and I think that's stretching it.... look at prior post season figures and they don't come anywhere close to the wine, cheese, sun and shortsleeve seeking crowd that attends in late September.

If you're a Bethel fan the only think you'll need to worry about is a parking spot.  I know where a few good ones are....

Veek;  Sounds like you'll be making a triumphant return tomorrow... see you 'bout 10:00am.

Johnnie Irish and I had a good conversation this morning... kind of a "Hot Stove League" prior to Selection Sunday.... the prevailing topic was:  "What are you commited to?".

Let's get the word out Johnnie fans and get this thing started...

Dusty, you're probably right, there may not be that many there, but in my opinion, there should be.  Last years game against Olaf drew 9900 and that was on Oct. 29.  Although, I think the weather was beautiful that day, so I'm sure that had an effect on it.  I do agree with you on the post season attendance.  Come next Saturday, we'll be lucky to get 4000 there.

Hey, I'm the pessimistic one around here...what are you thinking, Dusty???

My guess is closer to about 8k for tomorrow.  BU will bring a few busses and pretty much fill their contingent, and CSB/SJU students will of course get in free to take the student section, and the reserved seats on the home side will be full.  But next week?  5,000 would be pushing it for sure, as students and reserved ticket holders would have to pay...

Dusty, you are way off with your prediction of 4500.  If this was a first round playoff game, maybe, but not tomorrow.  J-esq is in the ballpark with 8000 but I wouldn't rule out 5 figures.

After all, TDT and Zip are going to be in attendance!!
Go Johnnies!!!

About to walk out the door on the way to Chateau Miller. Do I wear my red shirt or my blue coat tomorrow? Both maybe, but cheer against both teams? Decisions, decisions.

Mongo - Disappointing.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Classic. To protect her safety she had to throw the laptops. Wild Things was good.

ETA for me...9:30-10. Better go to the store tonight. I looked for blue frosted cookies, but couldn't find any. So, pink and yellow it is. TDT's favorite colors.

TDT - if you are insisting that I be there by 8 a.m. you better make damn sure you are there.  I'll be there bright and early.

Duff, Zip, Ritz, JR, and Dusty - what's your ETA for tomorrow?

TMERTON - I'm sorry to hear about your mother.  My prayers are with you and your family.
