Congratulation Bethel! Good game!

How appropriate that it is dark and rainy here... :(

SJU, like Willie Nelson, On the road again.

Was there any doubt this would happen?  ;D The better team won today.

First win ever for bethel at SJU. They definitely deserved this one.

You are all class. Why don't you remind me what Northwestern's record is this year? :P

I'm giving credit where credit is due, bennie.  Northwestern was 7-3.

By the way, the game has not officially ended yet. The last minute has taken 25 minutes. Illegal substitution. Johnnies get one more play. Why run it and risk injury?

It's over. Finally. Royal fans charge the field and "stomp on the SJU marker." Mark gets all upset, but Backes calms him down, says it's fine and they're having fun. No big deal.

No taunts from me.
I know how it feels a week later.

That was just a pure butt-kicking. Again, that huge series when Johnnies were up 13-0 and inside bethel territory and got nothing. Also sounds like Lofboom literally tripped over the 15 yard line on that long pass that could have brought the johnnies within one. Oh well, gotta look ahead now and hopefully the playoffs.

Way to go royals.  Always going to be tough to win in collegeville and it may not happen for another 10 years, but if they keep putting teams like that on the field, I'd look forward to  more of the same.

Just read on Frank R's blog, that John Gagliardi's sister Marie passed away earlier this week.

This is a red and white dominated site but it IS for the MIAC so I am glad Phil Porta has some relief from the past few years.
Congratulations to Bethel staff and players.
