fins: Was at Howie's with Frank and Wonka for the Vikes game on Sunday.  Saw the bar stool you owned.  They speak highly of you there...Will you be in Pella this weekend?

You were indeed on hallowed ground...mere steps from where I toil each day in the endless search for justice.
They should speak highly of me there. Just 3 hours ago, I gave them 8 of my hard-earned dollars for a patty melt and fries, no soda, just water. But I guess they charge a premium for the atmosphere. ::)
Doubtful on the Pella trip, may be going just as far in the opposite direction.

Wish I could go back and change my major. Watchmen, there's still time for you...

"It includes a significant component that looks at men as gendered beings, and in that sense incorporates the cutting edge of academic scholarship," Tomhave said. "This also increases the interest to students, so SJU students understand that their experience is gendered, just as women's is."

WOW - You have to go to college to learn that men are gendered beings? women are gendered too?
The older the violin - the sweeter the music!

Fins - I believe the answer to your "What's this?" question is (c).  Congratulations; I'm sure it came with a sigh of relief.  :D

Buckman: TDT will be in the Official UnderArmour Minivan of Johnnie Football leaving Eden Prairie at 5am Saturday morning with an ETA in Pella of 9:30-10am.  Perhaps a Proxy meeting can be held on Friday night.

Godfather: What can we bring to assist you in hosting the Stiftungsfestivities??

fins: I was at the Panthers vs NY Rangers hockey game last week in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami.  Went up to the concession stand to get some food and beverage.  Almost shat myself when I saw a cold brew was 10.75....and it wasn't even Hamm's.  So prices are all relative to where you are...

Rumor: Duffman has lost the faith and will be staying home and listening on the radio...Hmmmm sounds like what I've heard 56321 is doing on Saturday.
Chasing MILFs since '82...

Fins,

If you only knew how close your amended quote was to how she actually felt about the new major...you would be scared.

Having a couple of classes with her in the late 80's, I am amazed it took her this long to establish her empire.

Hope all is well in Central Minnesota!

Partial truth.

DuffMan has not lost any faith in the Johnnies, but he will be listening to the game on the radio.

I'm finished giving NWA my money for this year I think.  Without counting chickens prematurely, I'm hoping for an SJU-Oxy match in the second round.  A nice Southwest flight to Burbank would suit me just fine.  I'll then head to Trader Joe's (California's contribution to our culture - a health food liquor store) for the brie, white wine, sushi and Thai food we'll need for an authentic Southern California tailgate.  ;D

Merton, we've got a Trader Joe's here in the Twin Cities.  I went there once, and it was a bunch of hippies ::)

CC Backer

My 2 cents on the MIAC awards

MVP: Phil Porta
Stam: Tyler Ledyard
COY: Ramler, just because i don't like steve johnson

Also just found out that Tyler was elected to represent D III in the Aztec Bowl
Congrats to him!!

D O.C.

Duffman....

Suggest you reevaluate signing on.

QuoteAll of the stores are owned by a trust created by Theo Albrecht from the Aldi Group, a retail giant with more than 7,500 stores around the world.

Interesting tidbits
:
·   Trader Joe's will do about $5 billion in business this year.
·   The average full-time Trader Joe's employee earns $50,000.
·   The first Trader Joe's store carried 100 brands of scotch and 50 types of rum.

Oh yes, YEY! football!

Congratulations Jeff Bretherton.

Last time you'll hear this from me, but maybe there's a pattern worth following here:

A good year for Tyler Ledyard.  That is two years in a row that a CC d-lineman will go to the Aztec Bowl.  Travis Almquist represented CC last year.

C'ville Magic,

At least guys like Jeff Bretherton and Eric Brever don't hide their identities.  Your identity, though, is not as secret as you think, and as an SJU employee, I guess you're just scared for your job :o
