KR,

I have tried and tired till my brain hurts please tell me what STAM stands for?

Some Tasmainian Animal Man?

Where did STAM come from?

If you're referring to the MIAC award for best O-lineman, I am pretty sure Carl is right and its the last name of the dude it's named after.

Otherwise it could mean "Slutty Tommies Are Mating."

Sidebar: What happened to the Edit Post function? That thing was priceless for folks like me who lose any semblance of spelling skills when they post!
I think ya gotta have like 30 or 50 posts before you can edit.

Someday white silly will post sober and we'll all actually understand WTF he is trying to say. Until then, he remains like Farmer Fran from Waterboy.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Hey Pat Coleman, who do you personally think will win the d3National Chip'?  All biases aside...where is OAS?  Bueller? Bueller?  Anyone?  Bueller?  Dusty SJU?  Kilded Rat?   Where you at GUY?  Cheese?   Wonka @ 5 am an answer please?  The White Silly needs help.....any of you Concordia Cobbers ever check out the Hjemkost center?  I loooooooooooooooooooove the Hjemkost?

I've seen the Hjemkost center....every year from Kiddygarden to 6th grade. It was a traditional fieldtrip for us. Wow a big ship...cool. Once was enough, twice was a little too much but after that it was just plan old.

Silly Man,

This might help explain OAS being MIA from Post Patterns:

Barbara Johnson CaringBridge

Thoughts and prayers appreciated by OAS and family.

OAS has not been completeley MIA.  It pains me, but check this out:

Mr. President, I will admit I was a one hit wonder this year. Hope to do better next year.

Maybe the God Father will host a Stiftungfest when the Tommies come to Collegeville to play the J's for the MIAC post season title on Feb 24? ;)

Spackler, whats up with the 4 a.m. wake up call for the BU LAX game.  Alarm clock issue?? Sleep 'Aids?? The game is at noon, and is not played across the international dateline ???  You know something we are all missing on the start of this game? When you said listen in, I assume you arent driving in...

Raiderguy-

What a small world, Chuck and I roomed together our sophomore years at what was then STC (now UST) and we also wound up living off campus with some other guys our senior year.  He was in my wedding and is a good friend of mine.  We usually get together and golf at least once each summer with a few other UST alums.
He mentioned, while we were at the UST-SJU game this year, having a neighbor from MUC who was tight with some SJU fans and I got to thinking that the guy he was referring to might be you.  Once I found out your moniker I thought I would ask.  Thats just crazy.

I think Carl mentioned that he is in Guam.  That is devotion to get up at 4am to listen to the internet broadcast! I just have to be up and infront of my computer by 10 am. :D

I just hope that I don't find myself sitting in front of my computer this Saturday with no Johnnie feed.
I never did get a feed last Sat. and I don't think I was the only one although it was a good game to NOT get a feed. I wonder if johnniepress (or anybody else for that matter) has any information?

Just wanted to say congrats to Bethel and St. Johns for making the playoffs. This is like the 4th straight year your league has put two teams in the playoffs, if I'm not mistaken. I've been hearing a lot about this Porta kid for a few years now and I'm happy he's finally got a chance to show his stuff in the postseason. I hope he is healthy enough to go. If the Johnnies get past the Dutch I would love to watch Coach Gag's and Co. play the winner of the west coast teams out here, but both schools are too frickin' far away for me to make it.

Lucky #7 seed for the J's again this year??? Bethel finally gets that playoff monkey off its back (and big props to them if they can beat UW-La Crosse)?? I guess we'll see.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

johnnie press,

any update on the playing status of Rick Dold for Central?

As far as the feed goes, I have IT (Information Technology) looking into it. I know that the feed worked fine each time I and others around St. Cloud checked it, but that it did not work for others (in say, California and Ireland).

In regard to Dold's status, it will be a gametime decision. If he can't go, look for Gamache or Juba to fill in at right guard.

TDT, I asked one other time and did not get an answer. :P

Yes, he is one of my favorite players.  I talked to him a lot last year on the sideline as he was sidelined much of the year with an injury.  He came back to play at UWW in the playoffs but got hurt again.  He's a good kid and I feel bad for him that injuries keep biting him.
