Thankfully, I don't think there's any rush to get rid of my "Down with Scrubby!" and "Send Scrubby's grandson to be AO's roommate!" signs.

Like Steve and Gordie Howe, he'll soon be back and worse than before. I'll be there waiting, like Bud Selig and the Detroit Vipers, ready to do my civic duty.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

JR Sounds like a tough one to prosecute, on many levels. Good Luck.

To lighten it up a bit, let me give you some advice on what not to do if the Defense Attorney goes after your  "star witness." Don't be like an Asst U S Attorney in a trial in St Louis many years back, and slump down in your chair and "whisper" loud enough for the jury and everyone within 50 feet to hear, "They're killin' us, They're killin us!"   True story.

With that, I'm done.

Goodbye to Scrubby for the 4th time this season. Hopefully this time it will stick.

Is that what we're at now, 4 times?  Because I'm no good with big numbers.

Actually, I kinda feel bad for the guy.  I don't think he ever figured out that this whole thing is a bit.  Sure, we give people crap all the time, but when Saturday comes around all we want to do is drink beer and watch our football team.  He ruined that by mixing equal parts reasonable football analysis, claims of superiority, defensive responses, and "unbiased" fellatio of the Bethel football program.  It's just a shame,  that's all.

Safe travels, Scrubby41!  Say hi to SofaKing!

You are such a tease.  If I thought it was true I'd run out for champagne (and Zima for TDT!)

Every time I think maybe you kinda get it, you post again.  Suggestion - read more, post less (probably good for us all - except KR - his stuff is too good - and definitely too good for medical school).

Good luck to your grandson.  We'll look forward to seeing him on the BU sideline.

Just wanted to say congratulations to all the MIAC award winners, and especially to the big 3, Kirby, Zach, and Coach Steve Johnson.  I was a little surprised with the MVP and Stam at first but it makes sense once now that I think about it.  A fellow defender winning the MVP is great, I've known Kirby and his family since I was 3 years old and they are wonderful people.  He is very deserving of the award; he has been a playmaker all 4 years.  As for the Stam, I wasn't surprised that it was someone from Bethel, but I thought it would be Wasink (sp?).  However, since Zach was a dominant player on a very good defense it also makes sense for him to receive the award.  Also a big congratulations to all my Concordia teammates that made the honors teams.  Great year everyone, and good luck Johnnies!!  Keep it going!!

Just wanted to add that Whitworth is going to get absolutely owned...those one-eyed dirty pirates are going to get beatin' like little red-headed step childs!!!!!!!!

MR is bitter because he didn't see the field at the Pinebowl in '02.

AO

But aren't things just more infinitely more exciting in here when Scrubby posts something in defense of himself or that team from Arden Hills?  Besides that, he has also added himself to the list of miac supporters who want to see St. John's win a few more games in 06.

Nope. Now I get to go back to bashing tmerts for Notre Dame and its horribly weak schedule  8)

Also, Hoag just signed with the Washington Redskins. Scoop that, Senile Sid!

Congrats to Bethel's Kirby Carr being named
one of the ten finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy.

Ha! I hope he wins and Gags has to hand it to him :)

Wonka's music selection on the ride home
B96: Justin Timberlake's "My love"; Akon with Snoop; Justin Timberlake's "Sexy back"
101.3: Akon with Snoop; JT's "My Love"; Akon with Eminem

Sweet Jebus, shoot me now.

On a brighter note...Wonka's toilet is still clogged from a poker excursion Saturday night. Been plunged 9 times with zero success. Roomie is NOT happy and is about to call in the poop disolvant that was a staple at Wonka's old place.

We're not going to call you Thunder Wonka if you're not going to throw it down! I know you feel me, White Silly. Slap hands! Slap hands!

PS - The late night snipers are out. I just got dekarmalized at 3:15 am CST. Oopsie!

On another note...

With new travel restrictions will the Johnnie Air Armada be allowed to carry our own beverages?

Will we be restricted to multiple 4 oz shampoo bottles filled with Bailey's, Jack and Hamm's beer?

Anyone with connections to the FFA and Sun Country please respond!  8)

Developing.....

Growing up on a dairy farm in central Minnesota as well as being involved with the FFA in my youth- I feel qualified to answer your question Dusty.

Yes ;)

Oops... I meant 4H!

Now THAT's funny Dusty...As for bevvy's, I know they will have them on the plane.  Could ask my wife to stock some extra (some?) Hamms for the boys headin' west.!
"For Crissakes," he implored his players, "take your helmets off!"  "Only sissies play with helmets", Gags 2002

TDT:  Outlook not so good.  It may be sacreligious, but I have a hard time justifying $330 for travel to a D3 game.  If I were still in school I'm sure I'd be hitting the road sometime on Thursday and driving out.  I'm sure I'll catch up with everyone in Wisconsin on the 2nd.

TC;

You have much knowledge left to gain.... one cannot expect an answer, follow your heart...

No.
That's like saying it's more exciting to be a cop when the streets are full of drunken lunatics ranting about the end of the world coming while swinging machetes.

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Johnnie Red

retagent, thanks for the advice. I do have some connections to St. Louis. I went to law school at St. Louis U. As you might imagine, it was quite a change going from Collegeville to St. Louis. There were certain areas close to the SLU campus that you did not want to go if you were a certain skin color. Add to that the fact that SLU did not have football and soccer was king. :P And now I see that St. Louis is the most dangerous city in America. When I was there in the mid `70's, the one city you never wanted to travel to was East St. Louis.

As to our star witness, it will be the actual shooter of the defendant's mother. I'm sure the defense attorneys will be shouting out loud that "he's the killer, he's the killer, not our client."

Just want to make one thing perfectly clear.

MICHIGAN SUCKS!

The only thing good to ever come out of Michigan is Interstate 75.

There is a good article in SI this week about the charity run between two chapters of the same fraternity at the school up north and THE OSU.

They deliver the game ball by running between the two schools each year.(186 miles) They raise funds for The American Cancer Society in the process.

One year the runners support vehicles from the school up north was stopped by the Ohio Highway Patrol and charged with DWW.

Driving While Wolverines.

OSU has already taken care of the team up north this year. They will give you a rematch next year.....................promise. I am not sure Lloyd wants one.

Let's see USC, ND, ARK,FLA ..........Bethel,  oops they're out of the playoffs.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!
