WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

DutchFan2004

Good Luck to the Johnnies on Sat.  I don't think there will be much trouble with the Pirates.  You have a well coached team and some good athletes.  The showdown rematch in two weeks will be the test.  Have a good Thanksgiving KR & TDT nice to meet in in Pella.

Good luck to the Johnnies out in the NW this weekend!  It was a huge relief to see BRD get some key plays in the game, leaving us only to wonder what this team could have done had he played at WR all year long.

Whitfield, Linworth, or any other anonymous NWC school doesn't stand a chance against the MIAC's best!

Go Johnnies!

I would like to offer two cents on the awards by the MIAC...first Steve Johnson did a great job and deserves coach of the year honors, I would argue that Jay Schoenebeck would be second...

Kirby Carr is a fine choice for the MVP of the conference, there was not really another candidate to consider...Porta was not nominated by Coach Johnson so he was not considered.

I have an issue with the Stam Award, when you lead the league in sacks and tackles for loss and are one of the leading tacklers  on your own team, I would think you have a pretty good chance to win the award.  I think Nick Gunderson should have won it...

Yup, I was a sophomore that year.  There were some really fun times on those trips!

In your opinion, do trips like that bring a team together or is that BS?

No, the team really bonds during those trips.  It's a smaller group and you're stuck on a bus, plane, or in a hotel for a long time, so you get close to the guys.  I have some fantastic memories of those trips!

Last night I had to go to the grocery store for some last minute Thanksgiving stuff and noticed that they do carry Hamms out here (I am not a beer drinker so I never really looked). If those of you flying out know that you will have time before the game to meet up and imbibe, I could bring some. I will be solo due to my leaving Friday before the Civil War game (apparently my friends like sub-par football) so I will have plenty of room in the car for beer and store bought cookies for TDT! ;D

I just reserved my seat on Johnnie Nation Airlines.

Kelly told me they have not yet decided on the flight departure time.

For everyone going, please call Hobbit travel and encourage them
to make it no later than 8am.  Got to have a couple of hours to tail gate
before the game. :D

Flash,

I will accept the title of King.  I've always wanted to be royalty, just
not a Royal.   ;D

However, Johnnie Red is THE MAN.  No contest.

Hopefully you will have a chance in 11 days to meet THE MAN.

31 and snow didn't sound right for Spokane in the fall so I looked it up.  Holy wow.  Percipitation 9 of the next 10 days?  People ask me how I can live through Minnesota winters, but they are nothing compared to rain every...  single...  day.  How do you live with that?!?!?

ROR: Did you ask Kelly about the 3oz bevy rule?  Does that apply on Charters?  How many people are booked so far?

FYI: TDT has received the Scouting Report of the piRATes.  Details to be exposed at 35K feet Saturday morning...
