Linfield had their Alumni/JV game yesterday.. which begs the question, why not at SJU?

Imagine the Alumni line-up:

Blake
Linneman
Labore
Hood
Bielat
Weinandt
McCambridge
Fasching
Pantzke
Engwall
Novak
Pahula
Salvato
Gans
Rigelman
Carr
Keller
Bellair

Scary!

Who else would anyone like to see on this list?

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Farley, congrats to your brother and St. Cloud Cathedral on the state title yesterday in Class A. It was a privilege to give the team their medals and the trophy. I talked to coach Tim Miles, the Johnnie cross-country coach who was at the meet, and he indicated some of their runners are interested in SJU. Nice to see Chaska and Watertown-Mayer boys' teams in the state meet for the first time ever. St. Olaf is a great venue for the state meet.

Samwill47sju, Oldsju67 actually posted last week. He is doing fine. When you see him, ask him about the recently discovered connection our families have that goes back to 1931.

The "Tommies Suck" Stiftungsfestivities tailgate party will start next Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot by the stadium entrance.

I imagine Fasching would be on the "physically uanble to perform" list, as he doesn't have an ACL anymore.

KR would Bellair be JV or Alumni??

As far as "others" how about Herbst,Palmer or Seiben, Phil Barry or Jason Pflipsen,Kurt Ramler or Willie Seiler,Chris Moore,Josh Nelson,Rick Bell. There are so many great Johnnie Alumni from different time frames! Too many to mention!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Duff,
You and I both know ACL's much like driver's licenses and good credit are way overrated.

Who would you say were the best guys you played with that you would like to see with you on an Alumni/JV game?

105,
Bellair would be the back-up holder for the JV  FG team.

I think we have to limit it to guys young enough to still play...and I guess they still need to have all their knee ligaments

Like 105 said, there are too many good players to pick from.

From my senior season, I'd definitely take Pflipsen, Hood, Weinandt, Deible, Goltz, McCambridge, Gans, Denne, Kosel, Engwall, Elliot, Clintsman, and Carr anyday, and I'm sure that there are others that I've left out.  If you go back even one or two more years, there are tons of players on my list.

KR,

Lee has been asked to play on a flag football team by Paul Gans. He was told Blake and Cam are also on the team, as well as other Johnnies.

Duff,

I got the impression Paul is just putting it together now. I don't think play starts for a while. He's probably saving asking the best for last, so be patient.

Whoa Nelly

Would Concordia have any shot at hosting a first-round game?

Not to sound like a smart a$$, but yes they could as long as the NCAA seeds them 1-4 in the West Region. With 1 week to go,any number of things could occur.

Would Blake playing flag football endanger his IR pay from the vikes?

I would hate to meet up with that team!
