STOP THE PRESSES....3rd PERSON TALK IS IN THE MIAC???....
Bus Driver....you ARE authorized to roam freely in the Liberty League board.

However, RT must confer with the management of said board to discuss this serious breach of LL propriety functionality...posting in the 3rd person. The MIAC has already incorporated the Monkey Stomp into it's lexicon....the 3rd person, well, LL needs to huddle on that. That one may be sacred and something the LL may not want to license beyond it LL board...

RT, you must excuse Bus Driver. He is looking for acceptance since the sex change operation in Sweden did not go as planned (it's a long story). He has been searching for his true identity. Many of us have offered to help him through this difficult adjustment in his life,by paying for therapy etc... Then recently he observed how on the LL board, you, EngiNegro,Dawg et al. post in the 3rd person. Bus Driver felt that this may help him cope with this difficult time in his life. Please,if it will comfort him in this time of need let him have this little bit of pleasure.I understand by speaking with some of his Swedish doctors that pleasure as others experience it,is not possible for Bus Driver since the "accident". Your consideration in this matter is appreciated in advance from all of us on the MIAC board ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

SJU...having heard an explanation of said transgression from a respected senior MIAC poster, RT will call off the LL grand jury and record this as an isolated occurence that is not endorsed by the MIAC hierarchy and, thus, not an infringement on LL trademarks.

RT invites you into the LL wigwam to smoke the peacepipe and spin tales of bountiful harvests and large buffalo testicles..

Bus Driver & KR,

ROR- I will be in Collegeville on the 19th if SJU takes care of business next Saturday-I will shotgun with you-been a while-but can't make any promises as to your socks staying dry. Oh yea, I will only talk football. ;D

56321, don't worry.  I can't remember the last time I shotgunned or did a funnel.  I think we will be competing in the Seniors Division.

Survived Rush Street.  Looks like next year the kid will be living one block off Rush.
Wabash and Pearson.  May need to visit more often.  Good thing is it is only 10 blocks from Hubbard State Cigar Shop.

WC 64,

If you want your doubt back, I still have it.

You guys left it on our field in 2003.

KR,
You're absolutely right EXCEPT that was 20 straight WINS ago......if my memory serves me correct, you've fallen into about 3 potholes in the past 20 games...... it's all ancient history at this point.......the Cats just are looking forward to 2005 when they can LEAVE NO DOUBT as they did in 2004!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

WC64,

Your logic and font color are blinding. Please change one or both in the future ;D

If my memory serves, your cats fell into a natural pothole the year before they won the Title... as of last year that was ancient history.

If I supported Linfield, I would be nervous about my QoW.  Sure, that really doesn't mean anything, but how do you know?  Last year you made it through an easy schedule and then did well in the playoffs.  Year before that?  Not so good.  I would be a little circumspect on the 'King of the world!' trash talk until a tough game is under your belt.

I'm really anticipating an SJU - Linfield game in the finals (knock on wood that it happens).  The blustering 'This time we'll clean up St. John's!' talk will be laced with a barely perceptible undercurrent: 'we hope...'

cobbernation

OTF-Did not see much late hitting by the cobbers on sat. but maybe I missed the late hits and so did the refs.  Also, it's nice how the receivers can only get open down the sideline by grabbing on to CC db's jerseys and pulling them down to get separation.  But STO gets credit from me they are an explosive team and can score quickly, defense is a weak spot though (112 points in last two games).  But they are young and will be a tough team.

How about those vikings today??  Thank you Joey Harrington for sucking at football.  Brad Johnson is awesome.

M&G-I am going to come watch your game on friday in U-H...9-man state quarterfinals.  Good Luck.  Thats all I got.

Oz,

Last year Linfield had one of the top QoW playing the exact schedule it's playing this year.  It's not Linfield's fault that some of the same teams are a little down this year.  Hell, Linfield went out and schedule Hardin-Simmons for the next two seasons.  It's not like Linfield went out and scheduled Crown....

OleFan

The St. Olaf/Concordia game was a good one.  It was nice seeing a team run the option again.  It takes me back to HS when that was the offense.  The Ole defense has a lot of problems.  The first problem I see with the defense is the set up.  Now that the playoffs are gone it is time to find something new.  A defense with only 3DBs is asking for problems.  I am not sure if I look at putting in a 3-4 or a 4-3 now, but it needs to go in before next season.  The next problem with that defense is their lack of fundamentals.  Somebody gave that team the idea that they could just hit guys and they will fall over.  The talent level for Concordia and SJU is much greater and you have to wrap up.  The coaches finally realized that nobody was wrapping up and said something midway through the second quarter.  This is ridiculous that the Oles cannot figure these fundamentals out much earlier.  Andrew Schmeising had a great game.  He and the Cobber DBs were pushing each other the entire game.  They were both grabbing the whole time.  The Ole fans were complaining about it also.

I don't know why everyone is down on Meidt.  I have never seen anything that would make me think that he is coaching his players to play cheap.  I do know they talk a lot of trash.    I am sure some of this is through my Ole goggles which blinds me.  I do know Meidt does not like seeing anyone get injured.  I think the situation that the Cobber fan was referring to was where the Ole D did make a great stop.  I was talking with a big time Concordia fan at the time and he even commented on the fact that it was a great defensive stand.

I will wish the Cobbers good luck in the playoffs.  I also hope they play the Concordia/SJU playoff game in the Metrodome.

Also I heard something about some Olaf students at the Carleton homecoming game.  If anyone was there please let me know what happened.  I heard it was bad.

Exactly.

Who went and scheduled Crown?  Where's AO?  Northwestern is heaps better than Crown, right?

Close game for the Royals Friday, but it was nice to see Phil go off and us get a win.  I had to leave during the 3rd Q to start the journey to Notre Dame for the game against Tenn.  Wow, what a campus and stadium.  Way better that Davis Wade(Mississippi State) and completely different that the Swamp.  It was a great weekend of football and even better for my friends who went to the Bethel, Notre Dame, and Vikes games.

I hope everyone had a blast and enjoys the last week of the regular season.
