Wishing safe traveling to all Johnnie fans heading to WW.  I don't envy you ;)

Willy Wonka

Funny story Dinny told me last night. Apologies to Tmerts if this is completely off topic and he takes offense at someone posting a non-football related item. Actually, I'm surprised he hasn't demanded an apology from AO yet for saying the Johnnies should beat Notre Dame.

Anyway...

A few of Dinny's female friends were out at a bar in the cities last weekend. They ran into MVP Morneau and got invited back to his pad, where Mauer was no where to be found. Upon entering, the MVP vertiably ran to his DVD collection as his guests moved to take seat. As the TV flickered to life and a porn popped on the tube, the MVP spun and asked in his sexiest voice, "So, are we gonna do this or what?"

I can't verify the rumor, but he apparently independantly verified the facts and the stories matched. Look for the story in tomorrow's Republican Eagle.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Dinny has friends? Female? He must not have been too good of friends with TDT in high school.

There is a factory in Northern Minnesota which makes the Tickle Me
Elmo toys. The toy laughs when you tickle it under the arms. Well,
Lena is hired at The Tickle Me Elmo factory and she reports for her first day
promptly at 8:00 AM.

The next day at 8:45 AM there is a knock at the Personnel Manager's
door. The Foreman throws open the door and begins to rant about the new
employee. He complains that she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing
up, putting the entire production line behind schedule.

The Personnel Manager decides he should see this for himself, so the 2
men march down to the factory floor. When they get there the line is so
backed up that there are Tickle Me Elmo's all over the factory floor and
they're really beginning to pile up.

At the end of the line stands Lena surrounded by mountains of Tickle Me Elmo's.  She has a roll of
plush red fabric and a huge bag of small marbles.

The 2 men watch in amazement as she cuts a little piece of fabric,
wraps it around two marbles and begins to carefully sew the little package
between Elmo's legs. The Personnel Manager bursts into laughter. After several
minutes of hysterics he pulls himself together and approaches Lena.
"I'm sorry," he says to her, barely able to keep a straight face, but I
think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday." your job is
to give Elmo two test tickles.

kubiak, you need to get back to the states, man!  :D +k

+k as soon as I can BDB. I was trying to think of a nice way to say the same thing.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

See you online bright and early tomorrow morning, Duffman.  5 am kickoff for me.

And see you others who may be around (bennie & Co)

Go Johnnies!  Warhawks blow!  (I figure the Tommies can't be beat for sucking).

The contingent of Johnnies faithful, and others routing for their own causes, have arrived without incident in Janesville, WI at the Super 8 Motel.

I am here in the lobby checking email and writing responses to posts as I see fit while waiting for another photographer to come down from Oshkosh and rescue me.

It was fun, it was a blast, now would someone go and ....  nevermind.

Good luck tomorrow to all peoples involved. It will be a good game, no matter what the score ends up being.

Ryan, what are you doing so far north in all this cold?   :o :o :o  You will be frozen by the time the Stagg Bowl gets here.  How can you wolf down brownies if you are in a frozen state. ??? ???   Just kidding, but I just saw pictures of Perkins Field all covered with snow.  It's going to be major messy later today.  I wonder if Pat is off the train yet.  Llama was teasing him a while ago about being on the train, but at least he was moving towards PHilly.  Hope to see you in Salem at Stone Station!! :) ;) :D ;D
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

Sorry fb413, being a good ole Catholic boy who used to live in St. Cloud for a decade and married a Little Falls gal, St. John's has always been close to my heart.

That plus these boyz really do show me a good time.  ;D
