My two cents is that it won't take much improvement on Sauer's part to be a better QB than Ambrassas.  Ambrassas wasn't that good when I watched him his senior year.  His receivers constantly had to adjust to his underthrown passes and Hillyard and the other WR made his numbers look inflated and he didn't have the respect of many of the players from what I heard.

You bring up a good point about talent at STU but not results.

You know Alex Zweber is getting married next summer?

I know this has been throw around a little, but has anyone heard any rumors about Roney losing his job at the end of the year and who his potential replacement may be? I know the rumors can be interesting.

Can you give some insight to the MAC job, can they be alright again, and who are some people they should Look at?

Johnnie Esq.... you are correct, you have once again awakened "the spirits of close games past...", as usual your assessment is highly reflective of the matter at hand... it could be ugly to begin with however I don't see the Toms staying to close with this national championship contending squad we'll be seeing deep to the runway in Roanoke and the Waffle House... the boyz know we have too much fun on these Fall journeys to come up short... you're getting a bit soft since becoming a bonafide barrister......

I don't read the complete sense of doom from years past that was a hallmark of your posts...

No shock here, you've got a Johnnie Team that is completely stacked.

Wake me up after the Tommie game come Selection Sunday.

See you Saturday AM.

I think I'm finally recoverd from what was a truly sweet 5 Day Birthday Extravabration.  The 12 hour night of sleep helped out.  I think I had a total of 12 from the 3 nights before.

I will be in attendance on Saturday at the Johnnie-Tommie tilt and possibly in a shirt that will be on the level of the Bethel is Bad shirt.

And for the Gusties having no chance against Bethel, it would appear, according to the poll, that a lot of people disagree with that and the Gusties could pull off the win.

Duffman,

I caught the last 20 minutes or so of the FSN show on John.  I popped a tape in and recorded it, so if anyone out there taped the first 10 minutes, we'll be in business.

Looking forward to Saturday already.

Who would have thought the ranking has SJU 1st, followed by one point by Hamline, then followed by one point by a tie between Gustavus and St. Thomas. That is unbelievable!

Frank, great to hear the birthday celebration went as planned!! You must be on to something about the BU/GAC tilt. Ever since I put up the poll & the statement that GAC has little chance for the upset, sadly my karma has taken a tumble :(
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Willy Wonka

Back from Florida after a 4 day vacation to watch my sister take home the MVP trophy. Always a good time.

But speaking of Karma...mine has tumbled 6 points in my absence after falling one a day for the previous week or so. Someone went to some serious work to drop me down and I obviously wasn't doing any posting. Who's serving the Hate-orade?? Pat, is someone holding a grudge here? What gives?
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Willy,
I'm trying to keep us all above water, but there are many forces apparently working against me!

There's more to life than your karma rating, though mine is quite impressive.

I would not be surprised to see Gustavus beat Bethel on Saturday.  A couple of big underachievers should make a for a good matchup.
