janesvilleflash, it was an honor to meet you and your son-in-law last Saturday. Thanks for the brew.

When I was working out this morning I saw a new video on VH1 entitled "Stacy's Mom." How appropriate it would have been for TDT to play the young lad pictured in the video. ;)

Time to get the h--- out of the office and head up to Collegeville for the day and chill out.

Are you bringing your grill?   ;D

Rumors are that the Johnnies will have their own version of Kleppe suiting up in Collegeville next season....

Is Duffman applying for that 5th year of eligibility?

I don't know if that is a compliment in regards to talent or an insult in regards to body type! ;) ;D

I'd have to say that I don't resemble Kleppe in either regard.

Whoa Nelly

Mike was going to be married to Tammy, so his father sat him down for a little fireside chat......

He says, "Mike, let me tell you something. On my wedding night in our honeymoon suite, I took off my pants and handed them to your mother and said, "Here try these on."

She did and said, "These are too big, I can't wear them." I replied, "exactly, I wear the pants in this family and I always will.

Ever since that night we have never had any problems.

"Hmmm," says Mike. He thinks that might be a good thing to try.

On his honeymoon, Mike takes off his pants and says to Tammy, "Here try these on." She does and says, "These are too large, they don't fit me.

Mike says, "Exactly. I wear the pants in this family and I always will, and I don't want you to ever forget that."

Then Tammy takes off her pants and hands them to Mike and says, "Here you try on mine."  He does and says, "I can't get into them."

Tammy says, "Exactly. And, if you don't change your smart ass attitude, you never will."

In a related development, the St. Joseph Fire Department has reported that a fire hydrant is missing from West Minnesota Street.

End of discussion:

Any luck today, Duff?  I might get up early tomorrow and set some flags up.

SJU's own version of Kleppe?  He's too "generously dimensioned" to play for the Johnnies, isn't he?  I do think that Beaver fella would make a hell of a D-Lineman in Collegeville, though.

5-11 and 285 with a motor sounds rather similar to Mr. Kleppe. Word on the street is that he is transferring in this winter from DII.

Not much, but it was nice to get out and try some new equipment.  Bunch of perch, but nothing worth keeping.

JR - That "Stacy's Mom" video might be new to you, but it's not new. That's meant as a compliment. I am the one who should be derided for actually knowing that.

Yeah, Stacy's Mom came out in Summer of 2003. The reason I know this is because I was doing Bio research at SJU that summer and KCLD played the song 40 times a day.

Anyone interested and over the age of majority in your respective site can see the Stacy's Mom video here.

All Region teams out and the Pipes get a player on the team...albeit in a tie. Congrats to Tyler Schultz.

Is this like the MLB All-star game where every team gets a player?

Tomorrow is 2nd season deer opener in Iowa!!! 9 hours until I get up, get dressed and head out to the spot where I found this guy 1 year ago on Monday.

Any day where I have a legit excuse to not shave, not shower, not wear deodorant, and not use toothpaste is a great day!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.
