Touchdown Tommy

Well I am back from a brief hiatus.  Very interesting developments while I was gone.  BlueDevil Bob giving play by play on the trip to Lambeau.  Talk about defecating on Hwy 29 circa Wausau WI around 2:30 in the morning.  Johnnie Red revealing that he is a closet NASCAR fan.  Dusty planning trips to Georgia for early April.  And a new word was created called schweeling.

Attn: Johnnie FB Fans, A meeting of the minds will commence tomorrow.  Stay tuned for further details, you won't be disappointed.

Fins: Don't sweat the -K, maybe you deserved it.  Or maybe the Guru also plays the Scrooge/The Grinch.  Just remember you'll be sipping girly bevies in Key West and sailing the Caribbean in no time.

Happy Holidays.  Stay Warm.  8)

Good news, TDT -

I saw a stray dog eating something on the roadside this morning on the way to work...    I believe the evidence has been removed!

janesvilleflash

I went through there this afternoon and saw a dead dog.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Hamline has hired an assistant from Texas Lutheran.  The interesting thing about this is that the TLU head coach retired as the college president was retiring.

This gives the new TLU Coach a chance to bring in a new staff as the former TLU assistant may take some with him, if they want to move to MN. (Man it must be hard to get good enchiladas in Minnesota!) :)

I guess he would rather play SJU and Bethel than UMHB and HSU!  :D ;D :D ;D ;)

I hope each of you had a Merry Christmas, and I wish you a Happy 2007.

Minn in the news again ...

  • UnitedHealth Group, Minnetonka, Minn., said the Securities and Exchange Commission has launched a formal investigation into its historical stock-option granting practices. UnitedHealth said in an SEC filing that it intends to cooperate with federal investigators.

  • McClatchy agreed to sell the Star Tribune newspaper of Minneapolis to Avista Capital Partners for $530 million, as it moves to reduce debt from the Knight Ridder purchase.

  • Fins is moving the big house onto the ice tomorrow and is on the trail of the closet smiter.

As Dusty would say, "Developing ... "

Saw "We Are Marshall" last night. I would highly recommend it to all you college football fans. Difficult to not shed a few tears. :'(

Ahhh, back at work after much holiday schweeling.  I hope everyone had a great holiday.

My Christmas festivities had a small touch of MIAC PP.  My family was playing the game "Catch Phrase" and when it came to my turn, I got none other than Anna Kournikova ;D

I gave the clue:  "A female tennis player who is not very good, but she's hot."

A tradition unrivaled...

The power of MIACPP? When googling schweel, the number 7 result is now a post from tmert.

I'm offended that you'd suggest Hamm's over GBP.

What makes up your "entourage"? If it  is you & family/extended family/future in-laws, then I'd say 20 cases of GBP.
If you include Wooderson in your "entourage", then I'd say 35 cases of GBP- the boy doesn't have to go back to work until after the New Year, I'm sure he's still drinking ;D

It was the Belgrade crew, 105.  We lost count, but schweeled through way more than we should have and had to make several beer runs throughout the weekend ;D  I think the count ended up to be a few more cases than the number of Zantac that I had to take to make it through the weekend :o
