The Big Ten teams ought to have the good sense to avoid embarassing themselves in front of national TV audiences and, when having a record of 6-6, forego going to 3rd rate bowl games at which they risk losing to mediocre opponents.
Great point Frank.

Here Mason states the obvious:"Couldn't stop them," Minnesota coach Glen Mason said. -From the Associated Press Newswire-
I'm sure with a game plan like that he'll get a six year extention to his contract. ???

I've got a novel idea... how 'bout rushing more than 3 defensive lineman?

Just an idea.   :P

If you have heartburn Duff, just have some more spicy summer sausage...that should clear it up ;)

I've discovered that I can get heartburn from damn near anything :-[.

Dr. KR, I need your help!!!

Get yourself some Prilosec OTC. Take 1 a night sometime between dinner and bed time. You should notice an improvement within 6-7 days.

The way Prilosec, Nexium, Aciphex, Prevacid, etc. work is they decrease the amount of acid your gut makes, however this isn't an immediate process. Over time, you will decrease the amount of acid in your reflux which will allow your esophagus to heal.

Also, avoiding caffeine, chocolate, and spicy foods help!

Merry belated K+ristmas and a Happy K+New Year to all!!

PS. As a Badger fan, I too would love to see Mason on the sidelines for years to come as well, but as a Big Ten fan, I'm sick of his sh*tty coaching embarassing the quality of football the Big Ten has on the National Level.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Isn't that the stuff that's been linked to decreased bone mass recently?  Do you continue to take it, or is a one time thing?

Medical advice from PP, who'd have thunk it?

Happy New Year to all!!!

To some it's a six-pack, to me it's a Support Group.

Any MIAC teams need a new head coach?  Someone has just become available, but there has to be somebody better out there:

Good job Just Bill on the links.

I like this one http://www.fireglenmason.blogspot.com/

I'm happy that Joel Maturi finally grew a pair. I'm sure the Monson & Mason firings are in part that Maturi could see that taking no action on either of these two former coaches could cost Maturi his own job. This is the Big 10 and these guys are paid huge dollars to produce. The fact the University will buy out two contracts is a sign that someone is finally serious about the state of two potentially huge revenue streams at the U.

Perhaps now they can keep the blue chippers at home to play for the Gophers instead of seeing player after player go to Wisconsin,Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Ohio State and turn out to be great players.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

The only people who are recommended to be taken off of PPI's are elderly women or individuals with other major risk factors for osteoporosis. Since you're not a female, over 65, of body mass less than 120lbs, and I would assume you get a moderate amount of calcium, I think you'll be fine.

OldPa is right, give it a trial for 14 days, if it comes back after that, then you can try another 14 day run or go see a doc.

Happy New Year to all my MIACPP pals!
Couldn't help but think of you all as I'm sporting my new cap from Scheel's.(you get one "free" with any purchase over $250). I keep trying to figure out how I could stitch a "w" between the "Sch" and the "eel's".

Heard about the guy who went to the doctor complaining of heartburn? Doc checks him out and tells him he needs more exercise. "Start walking a mile a day, and call me in a week," says Doc. A week goes by and the Doc gets the call. "How are you feeling?" asks Doc. The patient replies, "Well my heartburn has gone away, but I'm 7 miles from home."
