The cover and the story are both on display in the SJU athletics building. I think I remember seeing outside the weight room in a display case with a few other awards. That means Tmerton needs to come back to SJU to read the article!!

Don't worry, it's not whether I'll be back but how many times.  We're doing our best as a family to bring NWA out of bankruptcy.

Now what I need is a key to that display case ...  ;)

I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Now now boys, stealing is not the Johnnie way. You should ask God Gags for a key.

Oh, it was fun, but we all got help on the Jerry Springer Show. :D
Now 1500, only 3,000 more posts and I can come close to KR's totals and ask Pat why I'm not in the Hall of Fame-be like Ron Santo.
+k to all you snowbound posters.

TDT, congrats to Anoka for beating Wayzata in grappling. No, I was not at the Xcel Center to watch it happen. Hopefully I will be able to make it there on Saturday for the medal/trophy presentations.

A FEW GOOD MEN

Airline Captain....
Captain: "You want answers?"
Chief Pilot: "I think we are entitled"
Captain: "You want answers!"
Chief Pilot: "I want the truth!"
Captain: "You can't handle the truth!!!" "We live in a world
that requires revenue. That revenue must be flown by people
with elite skills. Who's going to do it? You, Mr CEO? You
Mr. Finance? You, Ms. Human Resources? We have a
greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You scoff at
the line pilots and you curse our mediocre incentives. You have
that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what we know.
And my very existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to
you, drives REVENUE! You don't want to know the truth
because deep down in places you don't talk about at staff
meetings, you want me in that airplane. You NEED me in that airplane!!

We use words like working radar, good weather, on time departures,
airworthiness, upgrades, commuting, another round, medium-rare,
on-the-rocks, Cohiba. We use these words as the backbone of all
Professional Aviation. You use them as a punch line!
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to
people who rise and sleep under the very blanket of service I provide
and then question the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you
just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you
pick up a flight bag. Either way, I don't give a dang what you think
you're entitled to!"
Chief Pilot: "Did you expense the lap dancers?"
Captain: "I did the job I was hired to do."
Chief Pilot: "Did you expense the lap dancers?!"
Captain: "You're damn right I did!

+k to all in celebration of Zip's 1500th!

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Johnnie Red

KR, that was awesome. Find something on Jack Daniels and you will have everything covered. Still remember the days of driving up to Winsted from Norwood with a bottle of JD in hand to party-hearty at the BlueNote Ballroom. That place rocked, as did the PlaMor Ballroom in Glencoe. So many great memories from McLeod County. ;)

Touchdown Tommy

Sounds like quite the blizzard up there.  Hope everyone is safe and sound around the fireplace tonite with some hot cocoa (don't forget to chase it with a Hamm's).  I can be reached tonite for EMERGENCIES ONLY from Hammond Stadium via my cellphone.  Thanks

Taking a look at the You Tube clip that was posted last night by Kilted Rat I saw this clip......much worse and probably closer to the days of Duffman and Ritz.  ;D

Enjoy!!  BTW, How is the snow?  48 for a high on Sunday, might be time to dust of the sticks.
