Tmerton, you'll be happy to know that fall is the second choice, now.

I'd suggest February 30th. ;D

Sounds like experience speaking!! :D

Fins, I thought you were heading south?
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun

Sum: Don't worry about it.  We've got things ready (See: Mojitos and large turds to smoke) for the arrival of finsleft.  Weather is picturesque on a daily basis right now.  I hope my liver has been trained well enough to take the beatdown on Saturday...

Johnnie Red: While I know you are quickly becoming a MEGA celebrity in Chaska, I was wondering if you ever get tired of signing all those autographs for your admiring fans???

I'm not nearly as happy as you will be not having an anniversary during football season ;) (though you'll be very unhappy if you ever miss your anniversary because you went ice fishing :o)

Almost at 1800. Any objections to returning Anna Friday? This board needs a little something during the offseason.

TDT, I figured you would have things well in hand!

BTW, If you happen to run into about 8 middle age drunks at the next couple of Twins games, Say hi from me. The boys from my golf group are down there thru Sunday!

Contrary to popular belief, my life does not revolve around football.  The Johnnies are pretty much the only football I watch anymore.

A tradition unrivaled...

Duffman is already half way down the aisle.  And I can only imagine it goes downhill from here...

Sum: My schedule has me in Tampa this afternoon.  If time allows I may make an appearance at the AWAY game tonite versus the Yankees.  I believe the game is on in MN on Fox Sports Net.  You might not recognize TDT though, bc I have been banging the iron pretty good lately...

Oh and who are the decrepit souls who continue to give me +k.  C'mon fellas, only neg K is much appreciated...

Guilty here on the +k. Sorry, got passing it out and lost my head.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

How can I not +k you when I read about the mojos and heaters you have in store for me? But, if you insist... :-*
Sum- I'm flying out on Friday which is St. Urho's day on your calendar.
All this talk about wedding planning reminds me of a story my uncle used to tell about a guy he knows. Around the 1st of February the guy would send out little cards to his hunting buddies reminding them that deer hunting was 9 months away and warning them about getting frisky with their wives for the next few weeks if deer hunting was at all important to them.  :D

Why doesn't TDT worry about getting himself laid instead of DuffMan's wedding planning.  DuffMan thinks TDT hasn't seen a naked lady since he squirted from his mommy's womb.

TDT, it is always an honor to be featured on KQRS. I know Terri Traen well. She still wants to make it up for a Stiftungsfestivities. As to the autographs, not any requests for those. Something comparable was when the Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court bowed to me last fall at a public event in appreciation for the work our office did on the MNCIS system. That is something I will never forget.

Sumander and Finsleft, I am actually thinking about attending the We Fest this coming summer in Detroit Lakes. Where should I stay if I decide to make the trip? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

JR, Here is the link to the Hotels/Motels in Detroit Lakes. The Lodge on Lake Detroit would be the top end, Viking Motel would be on the bottom. If you have a question about a specific Hotel let me know. I would be happy to get you answer.

Best advice is book early, most of them fill up fast, if they are not full already.

From today's Sioux Falls Argus Leader, Sioux Falls, SoDak....

a followup of an earlier discussion:

Witness: Wrestling move may involve 'incidental' penetration
By Josh Verges
jverges@argusleader.com
Published: March 14, 2007
A referee and father of a wrestler took the witness stand today to defend Jerome Hunt, the 17-year-old former Parker High School wrestler accused of rape.

The man supported a main part of Hunt's defense - that he was performing a legitimate wrestling move and joking around with the accusers.

The referee said the wrestling move - known as the "butt drag" - is commonly used and may involve incidental penetration.

"Your hands are going to be in places like that and there's nothing sexual about it," the witness said. "It's just wrestling."

Hunt is accused of rape and attempted rape against teammates before wrestling practice and on the team bus.

For more on this story, see Thursday's Argus Leader.

that's the story and i'm sticking to it...
