The cost of the suite at only 12 people seems somewhat cost prohibitive.  I'd suggest just getting a bunch of seats in a row.  Also, The Godfather will "suck it up" and attend a game in the middle of the week along with a bbq tailgate party.  He knows what is good for him.  What do you fellas think about that Thursday game with the hated White Sox??

BDB: We are buds.  I only rip you when you deserve it.

ROR: Wonka asked if your daughters are invited...

TDT, that is a 12:10 game.  Some of us work for a living.

If you or WW would like to invite them, go ahead.  My home number is in the book.

Wonka,

I don't know if a 12-10 record against the Johnnies since 1997 constitutes the Gusties as "owning" SJU in baseball...

Im out jogging tonight, and I **** you not, I run by the idiots house by the school, and he has a couch ablaze in his front yard.  There were two squad cars there, and the only words I could make out as I ran by were, "F&*$&$ thing was talking to me!"

My that man has a rapist wit!!! (Name the movie)

I don't know what's funnier, the burning couch or you jogging.

Can't name the movie, but is that the same moron that was on his roof pouring water down his chimney back in January?  ???

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

At least you know where he's from.  I understand couch burning is an art form in WVa. 8)   If the Moutaineers win a big game, smoke from burning couches rises throughout Morgantown.  And same if they lose. :D

Ritzy, I think your guy has a relative in St. Cloud.

Riddle: When does Cologne smell like ammonia?
JohnnieRed? Bueller? Anyone?

Fact: Sidney Potbelly will not be here to enjoy June in Minnesota.

SJU spring practice update

Posted: 4/24/2007 at 10:26 PM

Finally made it out to a St. John's spring practice tonight at Clemens Stadium. I was covering softball at St. Benedict when the Johnnies practiced last Thursday, and their scheduled practice Sunday night was called off because of rain. The reason for my visit was a feature story on St. John's offensive lineman Dan Gamache I'm working on for later this week.

But I also was able to chat for a few minutes with tight end Brett Saladin, who missed almost all of last season after suffering a herniated disc in the season opener against Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He'd back in action now and seemed to be running all his routes without difficulty.

"I feel awesome," said Saladin, who will have two years of eligibility remaining. "In fact, I feel better then I did last year at this time. Taking the time off really helped. I've seen four or five doctors and they all say that I'll be fine."

It's hard to get a guage for much during these practices. The players worked out in shorts and t-shirts, not even jerseys. The linemen were really only out for about 20 minutes or so. I believe I saw wide receiver Bryan Busack haul in a 40-yard touchdown pass from Alex Kofoed. The players stood around and were entertained by head coach John Gagliardi afterward. That's about all there is to really report.

The Johnnies are scheduled to practice again Sunday night at Clemens Stadium.

Looking over Frank's Blog in the SC Times I went to the home page and presto, a feature on the Sartell HS Prom!

Thinking of Duffman just a few short years ago I took a look in the picture gallery....

I found this gal who seemed postworthy.  ;)

See BDB this is why you are an E "leet" poster.  Always digging for the details for the betterment of the MIAC PP.  BTW: Please please tell Joe that Punto needs to bat 8th or 9th and not 2nd.  He is killing us in the 2 hole with that .194 avg and terrible OBP.

ROR: Smart A$$, I didn't realize that Thursday game was in fact a Day Game.  I will be at a couple of games while home, prolly Dollar Dog night against the White Sox for sure.
