Congrats JR on the appt. from your friends of the IIAC. Hopefully the J's will get to venture to the Wav town in the near future (we would even welcome a trip north).

FYI: I can be found/seen at the Twins-Devil Rays game tonite.  Please direct all other urgent inquiries to my publicist. - TDT

Ponson goes 7 and the Twins win 9-1.

TDT, what did you do?  ???   8)

Good Afternoon BlueDevil Bob.  Well I can say I am pleased with the results of the game last night.  I was personally hoping for an 11-10 win so they would force the hand of Terry R.  However, lets just say the D-Rays "just missed" squaring up about 5-6 balls.  And I'd say Delmon did to the tune of 448 ft...I was laughing hysterically from the above the Twins dugout in the opening couple of innings.  The D-Rays were beyond bad and making every conceivable mistake...In other news they certainly grow the women different down here.  TDT had his head on a swivel admiring beautiful women...I will be in Kansas City on Friday night for the Tigers/Royals game from Kauffman Stadium.  Anybody been there?

All is good in MIACville. JR gets appointed to the bench, Sidney Potbelly lives to pitch another day, and my Suburban is packed ready to head north for work weekend* at the hunting place. TGIW!

*Happy hour today at the Sawmill, golf at the Wilderness tomorrow, and a case of Hamm's and my ATV to fill in the down times.

Damn, I knew I should have gone to law school! I guess I can hold out hope for Sum Jr. doing that and then supporting me like Mauer is doing for his folks!

I just go to work each day so I can make regular payments to one ex-wife and five bankers. ;)

Maybe that had something to do with Cuddy's somersault, his gaze was fixed on some dish in the stands. :o

Ha fins that is a word my dad uses for hot babes.  Too funny.  Reminds me of a time in Key West, Fla when a man named Harry and a man named Steve were competing for a "young Dish" named Kim from Portland, Oregon.  She obviously kept on coming back to Touchdown Tommy...

The line between imagination and reality is apparently quite thin for our boy - and porous.

SJU56321, it sounds like I will be handling civil matters in the beginning. Evidently because I am coming from the position of county attorney I may have to stay away from criminal matters because of a conflict of interest for a while until I can be fair and impartial to criminal defendants. How long that takes to happen is unknown at this time.

TDT, I actually knew about the appointment Sunday evening of this week when the Governor called me at home. He came out to Shakopee on Monday morning to introduce me and make the appointment public.

Here is what my staff has come up with for the top 10 ways they will know Johnnie Red has left the office.

1. Candy dishes remain full for more than a day.
2. Stiftungsfest burgers are no longer served at office parties.
3. Calendars are no longer set according to annual town festivals.
4. Office walls are bare sans the Johnnie homage.
5. Char's stamp supply will last a lot longer.
6. Employees will once again have spare change.
7. No more obscure emails referencing Rhonda's redneck roots, Michele's like of local watering holes, Chris's anti-social disorder, Hamburg's favorite resident, and our out-of-staters.
8. You don't have to get to work at 3 am to beat Mike to the first parking spot by the judges' spots.
9. No more playing of Paris Hilton songs on the boombox at an extreme volume.
10. Developing....

Story in the Times this morning about J's offensive lineman Dan Gamache . He is 6'4" and 260 lbs. Sounds like a lot of upside potential as well!

Sum - Thank you for posting something fb and Johnnie related. That's rare. ::) +k

I'm suprised number 9 was not a little higher on the list.   ;)

Amen, Mr. Prez. Old dude may never learn, but if we keep pointing out the obvious we can only hope he gets the hint one of these years...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Wonka, looks like you found room in your bandwagon for TDT. :D

By the way, congratulations to longtime Concordia coach Jim Christopherson, who was elected yesterday into the National Football Foundation's College Football Hall of Fame, where he'll join SJU's Gagliardi (who was elected last year).  Well deserved and happy to see another class act in the MIAC recognized!  Two NAIA titles and a 218-101-7 record over 31 years is pretty impressive.
