While the Daily Planet still uses "may train", it appears that the Gophers are really close to officially announcing they will train in Collegeville this fall.

"Brewster said Wednesday at the Minnesota Associated Press Sports Association annual meeting that the schedule was being worked out with Johnnies coach John Gagliardi."

So I had my first taste of Miller Chill today.  It's a pretty good summer beer...light and refreshing with a lime and salt taste.  I would say it's a very good beer for a hot summer night, sitting on the deck, the bbq cooking up some stiftungfest burgers, a couple of good looking ladies in the hot tub, and willy sleeping at 7pm.

Closer to it every day

Less than a month away for the annual MIAC Night at the Chaska baseball park when the Cubs host Apple Valley on Thursday, July 19. Game starts at 7:30 p.m. Plenty of Stiftungsfest burgers. Wear something with your MIAC college name on it and you get into the game free.

Anyone out there have any information on how Paris is doing in jail?

I thought you granted her a pardon - or doesn't that power come with the robe?

I picked up a sixer at Wal-Mart in Sheboygan last Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. I was there for a wedding and the hot tub needed to be hit up before the 2 p.m. start. It was pretty good cold. It was a very good start to the day.

Duffman,

The beer you crave and mention in your e-mail is plentiful here in the mountains...sometimes served in the school lunch program ;D

Hope all is well in Johnnieland!

The Rockies SWEEP the Yankees beating Mussina, Pettite and the Rocket  :D
That's almost as rare as the tommies beating the JOHNNIES in football.  ;D

She's "being strong"

See: http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/06_02/parisR2106_600x706.jpg

She's due to get out Monday and her neighbors anxiously await her return:

QuoteAnticipating a horde of media when the socialite is expected to be released next week, some Hollywood Hills residents were circulating a letter advising neighbours to call the police and local representatives to complain of the noise and traffic that may overtake the sleepy neighbourhood, a city councillor's spokesperson said.

Heck, they're even trying to kick her out of her home!

She needs your help, JJR!

Speaking of our girl Paris, I read in the paper this morning that ABC and Babba Walters tried to line up a post-jail release interview with Ms. Hilton. The offer was $100,000 for the opportunity. Evidently NBC got into the fray and the reported offer from NBC is $750,000. So long ABC. Keep in mind that if and when we do get Paris up to the Stiftungsfestivities, it will be priceless. ;) TDT will be designated as her personal escort.

Talk about incentive.  Or not. :-X

JR,

Isn't that a more harsh sentence for Paris?  I mean a night with TDT may be unconstitutional might it not?

Touchdown Tommy

FYI: I will be in Miami tonite for the Twins game.  I may or may not have sweaty balls and swamp ass by the 3rd inning.

Johnnie Red: You make the decree and I shall oblige.  The MIAC PP is like your 2nd courtroom.  You preside here as well.

Frank R: Are you back in the Cloud working for Bernicks?  Hope all is well.

Mongo: Yea if you didn't survive the big storms the other night have no fear.  I'll take care of Wonka and that shirt will be in your box in the ground with you...

DuffMan

DuffMan is having a fabulous day.

I left work at noon ("summer hours" -- what a fabulous idea ;D).  Stopped at the liquor store to buy some beverages for the weekend.  Lo and behold, 22oz Fat Tire in the fridge!!!  SCORE!  Apparently, they just got it in yesterday.

Life is good :)

A tradition unrivaled...
