This is the first I had heard that Crees is out for the season?  Who's going to back up Kofoed?

Doesn't your inside source get this info to you?  >:(

Could someone (maybe Amaru?) please give me an update on my beloved Auggies?...I really think that Arena League Offense is gonna take the Miac by storm this year...Respect the Cagematch...

They're as good as Willy is at picking up the ladies

Nah - my source was stuck in rural MN for the summer and desn't seem to know anything at all other than how to get to the Kolacky Days festival in Montgomery. ;)

I was just slumming on YouTube breaking down a play I saw last year and I came across this.  A nice way to kick off the football season-- it should keep the Bethel fans realistic while the Oles can remember that their crosstown rivals actually beat Bethel...

That Holy Angels you speak of I believe is Joe Boyle. Had a great junior year and led the Stars to the 4A championship title game (lost to Mahtomedi in OT).

Saw him last year beat Hutch at their place...has a nice arm and seemed to be very mobile. I could see him making an impact in a couple of years.

Here are my pics from Gopher practice:

* John is introduced to the team (applause erupts)

* John talks to captain Mike Sherels and thanks him for his comments in the paper that day about SJU's tradition. Although Sherels' comments that John has been there for 1 million years was a bit off.

* John speaks, they listen, they laugh.

I CANNOT WAIT for the showdown of premeir offenses when Carleton vs Augsburg takes place...that is gonna be LIGHTS OUT...Carleton's constant trick plays v.s. a true Arena League Offense by the Auggies...that is gonna be silly...TDT is weak!  where is mighty royal?

PI:

These pictures are begging for captions.  I suggest consulting Fins and BDB.  If Kilted Rat weren't wasting his time studying  ;) I'm sure he'd be all over it.

That obviously comes from someone with access to team videos ... is Ramler leaking stuff to YouTube? ... great material for recruiting. ;)

It is so weird there is an argument about my hometown of Lake Mary going on here.

PIROLL,

Did you graduate in '03?

Tell me about it.  i was at the Gopher practice this morning and something was absolutely wrong-- no Stiftungfestivities!

But it was good to sit and watch a bit of football-- Mike G and John G and Jimmy G were wandering around,  and it was great fun.

Probably no worse than 1 fewer wins than last year.

Hi everyone, been reading this board for probably about ten years, never registered though.  Went to St John's in the late 70's (did my major at the Midway and La) and still follow the team religiously.  Living in Fairbanks now so if there are any other fans up this way give me a shout.  Bennie, if I remember right you are from Slayton, I grew up in Currie, give us back our courthouse!  Go Johnnies!!!
Everyday is payday in paradise.
