Oles climb into the polls. Geez, the pollsters must think highly of the Pipers.

Looks like TDT is calling it to be a close game on Saturday against the cobbers in his latest bit on johnniefootball.com

Me? I'd say not so close. AK es en fuego.

Horan's Heroes

Hey Johnnies...

Have to say as an avid Cobber fan who is trying to start some student traditions among other fellow cobbers.... your website is pretty cool. In fact, so cool I may even decide to take the diea and use it myself. hmm...

Wish you all the best, Horan's.  Be sure to check the site early and often in the next couple days, we have features literally backed up waiting to be devoured as the real MIAC season gets underway.

I'll echo fins' sentiments--I think the Johnnies win this one comfortably.  Making it... what?  6 straight years I've felt that way?  Should be another good one.

Interesting to see the Oles move up to #22.  With Augsburg and GAC on deck for St. Olaf, the Johnnies should have a top-20 team to knock off on 10/6.

105 et al - re the knee - MRI today - meet with doctor tomorrow - we'll see.  He certainly won't be playing this week.

Was watching a replay of the UWRF game tonight and the kickoff after the second TD.  The UWRF ball carrier went down like a ton of bricks as #50 flew over him - but the ball carrier ran into his own blocker and that's what took him down hard.  Even so he was lucky - he was set to go down much harder had he still been upright  ;)

And if you do it for the Cobbers, too, make sure they get the same special "print page" function. ;D

As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

So how often do I get to go to LeCenter, MN for court and have a defendant appear before me with ten different charges for public nuisance and/or animals at large for letting his cows and sheep run wild? That was somewhat unique. Probably comparable to TDT running wild at the College of St. Benedict. :P

After picking up my brother and his bride at O'Hare, I rushed home and was greeted with the SJU/URF blackout too, and I live in Wisconsin. What possible contractual deal would call for that? I too was as PO'd as "THE GURU". My brother recorded it on his DVR from a Comcast system in Northern IL last week, as it was broadcast on Fox Sports Pacific, or some such wierd venue.

The game was on last night (FCSC) Fox College Sports Central on the Cablevison system in the NYC area.  I was surfing and came across the game.  Too bad there was only 1 minute remaining when I found it.

It was on here, too, last night.  We were watching the recording of the game (which I made when it was shown early last Sat. morning) when a neighbor called to say it was being broadcast "live" on FCSC, which we get via Comcast.  However, according to the cable schedule, it was supposed to be LSU Football on that channel at that time, so the only way one would have found it would have been channel surfing, as you and our neighbor did.

Pat - Is there any way to get info from Fox on when they will be broadcasting/replaying D3 games?  Or is that up to the satellite and/or local cable companies?

I surf through the schedule and look for games, for what it's worth. I don't think Fox knows what's Division III and what isn't.

I don't have the regional FCS channels. :( However, I have a contact there -- if she still works there I can see what she knows.
