Fins - your "No Circus Animals" article was great.  That first picture is a classic!  Well done, Sizzle!  + k

Duff - you didn't provide us with your prediction for Saturday.  Care to share it?  Good article.
Go Johnnies!!!

Cobbers:  Remember plenty of cold bevies for the Stiftungsfestivities.  We usually come out at halftime for a few libations as well...

Amazing how liberally TDT uses such a term when he attends two games a year...

Once again don't let Facts get in the way of a good story Wonka.  Lets see, last season I made the trip to Pella, Spokane, Whitewater, the Eau Claire game, and the Bethel game.  That is 5 and may have been one more.  Not too bad from 1413 miles away!...

Better to remain silent and presumed an IDIOT than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Veek: You gotta pay more attention to www.johnniefootball.com.  Predictions are featured early each Saturday morning.

TC: Yep I remember that infamous party house (would be the abode of my buddy Dinny).  I believe I was hurling beer bottles at the concrete walls later in the evening.  Never been to Mick's but it certainly sounds like my kinda joint.
Chasing MILFs since '82...

section105 - Gas in SE Wisconsin went DOWN $.06 today. I don't get it either.

bennie - Both the GURU, and I shared your disappointment at about the same time you did on Sunday. I think I heard a scream from east coast to west coast at 2:00pm EDT

Did you just make the point I tried to this summer that sent you into a 2 month hiatus? I own you.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Just looked at the listings and it appears the SJU-UWRF game is on tonight at 9:30 on local cable TV (Comcast - Fox Sports regional).

Y'all have a good time at your games - best to all attending the Stiffyfest.  #50 has to have an MRI on his knee next week so you won't likely see him playing tomorrow.

We'll miss the Reformation Saturday game next week but we'll be there 10/6.  (FYI, I once had a good Lutheran secretary who, in her spare time at work, read books on Lutheran theology - in the original German!  And her birthday - none other than Oct. 31 - I kid you not.)

Wow nice, Im in the Legacy of Luther course at Concordia right now... thats pretty solid
Go Johnnies!

Do any of you Cobbers who are coming to the game on Saturday have any friends who grow sweet corn?
If you do, and can bring several dozen, I'll bring my cooker and boil 'em up for us. Just want y'all to feel at home.  ;)

Goes great with koolaid!

Hey let me know what the deal is, I will be coming Friday night to do the St. Joseph pub crawl and then intend on being impressed with  the "Stiftungsfestivities"  that is if the Cobber Nation is invited?

You really have to read the previous posts man. We've been invited... and we are going.

Alex Kofoed's Passing Statistics to date :
GP   Effic Cmp-Att-Int   Pct  Yds  TD Lng Avg/G
Alex Kofoed           3  179.06   47-70-2    67.1  666   8  51 222.0

Anything catch your eye?

Either Alex will pass for 400 yards and win the game singlehandedly or he will suffer a catastrophic season ending injury.  There's no way around it.  Last time Kofoed faced the cobbs, he dislocated his thumb, the cobbs may need a similar miracle on Saturday to make it close again......

My vote is for a monster game from Mr. Kofoed.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

To think -- if he hadn't completed that last pass he threw on Saturday, his completion percentage would have been .666 as well. Definitely a sign. :)

But unless it was for no gain, the yardage would be different Pat.

Oddly enough, I'm smart enough to know that.

What I'm saying is it looks like it was destined to be 666 one way or the other. :)
