Nice mention on the radio right now of www.johnniefootball.com by Mark L and Brian B.  They are giving Concordia SID Jim Cella the raspberries for his prediction on the site yesterday...

Lots of TDs by the Johnnies, and an 88-yard TD run by the Cobbers and a 90-yard kickoff return by the Cobbers. Jim C.'s a great guy, though, worked with him a bit up in Fargo at the paper. And he did go to a great school in central Minn...

I've had the center Ice packge for the past two years. I think it's worth it. Being in the Central time zone is probably most advantageous, but I have been happy with it. I also have the Sports Package that has many of the regional Fox and Comcast channels. You'll get an education regarding horrible announce teams. Examples include the Red Wings, who are the biggest homers, as are the Canadian network guys from Rogers and the Canadian ESPN, or whatever it is there. Buffalo has a color guy whose horrendous. Washington, Minnesota (the two best in my opinion) and most of the West coast teams are pretty good. The color guy from the Coyotes is unlistenable, if that's a word.

The Johnnie announcers do have about a million ads during games, as they were just joking about, but nothing can compare to Yankee radio broadcasts. "And that popup brought to you by Orville Redenbacher, nothing pops like Orville."

John Sterling and Susan Waldman...disgusting

I bet they really miss Charley Steiner in the Bronx.

Bennie: He is a dink.  Does anyone really give 2 sh!ts and F#*$ about Gustavus crushing a not very good Hamline team??

Apologies, I was under the assumption that this was the MIAC board. That includes teams other than the one in Collegeville, right?

Besides, this sets up a matchup of unbeatens next week (assuming the Gusties hold on and Olaf wins) in what could be one of the a national games to watch, to say nothing of the Game of the Week in the MIAC. Maybe mommy would even let you put a ticket on her card to fly up and watch it if you asked nicely...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

stanbob

National game to watch?  Surely you can't be refering to GAC/STO?

57-14 GAC right now. Was 41-0 at half. GAC with 598 total yards. Hamline has scored twice in the fourth I believe.

Pipers just called timeout with 3 minutes to play to save time before a GAC punt...

We got any other MIAC scores out there? I know Mac lost 21-13...OAS was pissed.

Gustie announcers reporting Olaf over Augsburg 70-31...

Kid from Nebraska runs for 447 yards and their D gives up 40 pts with Ball State missing a game winng FG, something is seriously wrong with that picture.

You got that mixedup stanbob in the Nebraska game.  Keller passed for 438 yards for Nebraska.   Davis from Ball State had 422 passing.  Ball State had Lewis run for 122 and Lucky ran for 102 for Nebraska.  41-40 Nebraska.
