Mr.Shoes

I do believe Duffy will be emailing that to me this afternoon (check your hotmail, DuffMan) and I'll post it as soon as I can.
Nice day, huh?

Check it out --> johnniefootball.com

Shoes,
Agreed. Scotsmen like their beer and nuts.

Ritz,
What were you saying earlier about Iowa? Are you from this miserable state or living here?

Said post earlier was about my lack of faith in you beating Duff, and that the title would not be going to Iowa! ;D

Ritz, in a shameful run-up of posts to get to 200, has now taken it on the road to the Midwest Conference board, with offers to be a tour guide to the poor Presbyterians from Illinois. Check it out.
They're all going to end up in the Camp Bar with herring in their beers!

Only if I served as a tour guide to the Scot Nation....or small village, which is what they will probably travel!

If I take them to you ex-client's place, maybe he'll finally settle up!

Come on now fins!!! ;D

Would I really do something like that!!   ??? ::)

Yes, you would. Wouldn't you?

Coming off of a long bye period without shotgunning, I was moderately pleased with my performance.

In case you missed it, here is the Hamm's Stigtungfestivities Shotgunning World Champion belt I designed:

I will be practicing leading up to the next event that I can attend... maybe even winning a heat.

Mighty Royal,
In reference to Willy Wonka's post- is it O.K. for Bethel to run a Hail Mary ???
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Poster, Friends, and Fellow DIII Football Fans,

It was a cool day in early September, when I returned to Post Patterns.  Gone were the hundreds of previous posts, and a great deal of people I had met along the way.  You, however, have stayed.  I say with great pride that the fans of DIII Football, except for AO, are a very intelligent, faithful, and fun group.

To my friends on the MIAC board, you have all made me who I am today.  Without you all, I would no longer consider it "cool" to shotgun beers, play childish pranks on opposing fans, and pee in full view of the fans in  Clemens Stadium.

To those who I have pissed off the past 3 months, deal with it.  I am just pointing out the obvious facts that 1) your lives suck, 2) you are closet imported beer drinkers, and 3) we (Johnnie Posters) are more intelligent in all things opposed to you!

From this moment on, (sniff--sniff--- I promised myself I wouldn't do this) I will be nice, courteous, and fully aware of others' feelings ;)

I greet my fellow members of the Culture Club with open arms.

Thank you, Vote early and often, and God Bless America!!!

ps-- And World Peace!

Ritzy,
Welcome to the Klub... a bit o' karma to welcome you in properly.

One last piece of bitching and moaning about the brackets and then I'm fine with letting the West region decide the Stagg Bowl winner and letting MUC(k) be runner-up.

Here are the ranked teams in each bracket:

West: 1 (Linfield), 2 SJU, 3 UWW, 6 Oxy, 9 Concordia, 18 Central, 21 Coe and Monmouth 2nd most votes received outside of top 25 (37 votes)

South: 4 UMHB, 8 Trinity, 13 Wash and Jeff, 14 Thiel, 17 Bridgewater, 24 Wesley, and 2 unranked teams  Ferrum and Johns Hopkins with a combined total of 2 votes on the final D3 poll

North: 5 MUC, 10 Augustana, 12 North Central, 15 Wabash, 16 Capital and unranked Albion, Lakeland, and Mt. St Joseph, none of whom even got any votes on the final D3 poll

East: 7 Delaware Valley, 11 Rowan, 19 Union, 23 Ithaca and unranked Curry, Cortland State, Hobart, and Wilkes, with a combined 44 votes between them on the final D3 poll.

Assuming all un-ranked teams are equal.... Even though we know they aren't and assigning them the ranking of 26th (very generous to the East, South, and West), here is the average ranking of all teams in each bracket:

West 10.75
South 16.5
North 17
East 20.5

Ritz-
This calls for a Minny Martini! Welcome, and I'd karmalize you but I must've already done it earlier in recognition of the way you tore through that 30 pack on Saturday.

Well things are certainly shaping up. Just got off the phone with the head of the MC Pipe Band. Looks like there are some pipers eager to make the trip. They're discussing at practice tonight. I hope I wasn't out of line by enticing them with Hamm's and Stiftungfestburgers.

Hamm's on tap at the La and a pipe band at the Stiftungfestivities!
Who loves you guys?

I see central Minnesota's in for fairly significant snow this week. Any thoughts on how that would impact the game? Does that even affect the SJU turf now?

DuffMan

They just run a plow over the turf.  Not a problem at all.
