Ritz, I thought I saw your car at UST.  You must have sold it, though.

No lie, I actually took this photo in the UST parking lot.

I would rather have a pic of the smashed in Chrysler with the airbags deployed! Did anyone else see that thing about 20 yards from the tailgate?

Frank,
Best costume yet!

CobberNation,
Can the young lady find sea kelp in the greater Fargo Moorhead area? I'm guessing she thinks Copenhagen is a city in Denmark too huh?

If Concordia could find a female president who chewed snuff it would definitely be in the football teams favor.

Being decked out in flannel cutters wouldn't hurt either.

105,
Saturday against Plainview-Elgin-Millville.  No Johnnie game for me this weekend, so you boys will need to bring home the 'W'.

Trying to outdo Northwestern and play 3 teams? Good luck.

Maybe Wooderson, Sr. can fill in for you, if he's not in Hollywood by now.

Late congrats to the Cobbers and the Johnnies. How sweet would a Dec. 3 West Region Final be that featured the Cobbs @ the J's.  One can only hope!!

Good luck to all this weekend,  except Coe.

Nice Season M&G...do you have lots of kids back next year?

Does anyone know anything about Coe - big/fast/athletic/all?

Agreed, that Oxy did get a hard pick in the first round.  The thing I am surprised about is that no one out of the west was moved to a different region.  I believe that the west region is by far the toughest region and will take the hardest of work to make it out of the region.

Anyone have any info on the Coe Kohawks?  Thats all I got.

Cobbernation: Based on the one time I saw Coe play SJU,2002 in 17 degrees & windy conditions, they play run it between the tackles type of football. Their coach is a former Mount Union player ,then assistant coach who took over at Coe a couple years back (maybe 5 years??) I also remember they had a lot of kids from the Chicago area on the roster if memory serves me correctly. Just have the Montana mountain men growl at them & you should be on to round 2 ;D

Here is the scouting report on Coe from 2002. Duffman played in that game so he may have more insite than myself who sat in the stands & drank hot chocolate & peppermint schnapps ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Hard to argue with the King of Zima himself.

I heard through the grapevine that Coe is a beatable team.  Their star running back is 6' tall and weighs 223 lbs.  I heard he isn't a punishing runner, but if he gets in the open just get reservations fro six.  Looks like they have quite the passing game 250 yds/game to go along with almost 200yds rushing/game.  But the game is at "The Jake".

Duffman--do you have any insight on what Coe will want to do on Sat.?  That's all I got.

DuffMan

I've got no insight.  Like 105 said, I played against them in a freezing game in 2002.  They were decent, but we dropped the Monkey Stomp on them.  From what I remember, they had a good running back and a QB who liked to take off.  We basically kept him in check by keeping 2 d-linemen in front of him all the time (I'm pretty sure that I'm thinking of the right team).  Sorry I've got nothing recent.  You'll have to browse the stats.
