I've been watching the d3cast WPI vs. Hobart. It does little to counter my skepticism about the East. It looks like the MWC Game of the Weak.

I saw a video of it. Downie is a piece of work. I watched a Flyer/Ranger preseason game last weekend. The annoucers mentioned that when he was ten, his father was driving him to/from hockey practice and ended up dying in a car crash. I was feeling pretty sympathetic to him until they mentioned that in Juniors, he got suspended for hazing. Don't even get me started on hazing... :( Ehhh....
