Thanks Duff!!  Have a bloody at Patty's for me or at least a Black and Tan.  And also keep Mongo away from the spiced rum or things could get weird :D
I like to picture my Jesus singing lead vocals for Lynard Skynard with like a band of Angels behind him, and I'm in the front row HAMMERED drunk!!!

bennie,
I lied to you about being in my regular seat with popcorn. My short term memory is going - oh oh. I have a Special Olympics event today and won't get to my regular place until late in the game if I'm lucky. It's up to you to keep ZIP in line again today and it's up to both of you to not let TDT mess up my reserved seat.
BTW: If you are watching 13 games tonight, make sure you have enough Super Depends on hand  ;D

Enjoy your day 57, going from being at the game to missing one on the radio pretty much runs the gamut.

SUMMIT!!!!!

agreed about June Jones (who names their son "June"? Sounds like the sequel to that old Johnny Cash song)-- as far back as I can remember, he was more of a classless a$$hole tham a certain MIACPP poster :) SUPPOSEDLY, he found religion & reformed his ways after a near-death a few years back, but last night's interview showed differently.

BUT I'd love to see Brennan in my fave NFL team's uni next year-- might make us all forget whatshisname, the guy who did isotoner gloves commercials. And we're playing good/bad enough to have our choice between Brennan and Brohm. MN will, of course, stay with T-Jack <snicker, snicker>

Off to GAC now...eager to tour the stadium....looks like a perfect day, weather-wise

Yeah - can't think of a better second choice to a Johnnies game than Special Olympics - not quite the talent but just as much enthusiasm. Now if I could just get over to Coors Field (and get tickets) for tomorrow night's game.  :D

Veek, you know I was just sweating you.  Relax big guy.  Do we have to settle our differences over some Kool-Aid and several Leinie Reds??  I was just trying to elicit a reaction (hush falls over MIACPP) and it worked to perfection.  You do make nearly/all the playoffs road trips where the bonding occurs.  In fact, I distinctly remember a certain Chili's in Spokane.  Wonder if my old buddy Ron Tomczak remembers me? hahahahha

It seems like I won't be able to listen to the game online, can one/some of you give some updates?

Thanks for the +k, Repete.  Right back at you.

57Johnnie - it was a pleasure meeting you last Saturday.  Thanks for the tasty cheese curds.

TDT - I can't wait for the day when I can ride your ass when your responsibilities include more than books, babes, and sporting events!  It's all about prioritizing.  I keep my "get out of home, away game passes" for the playoffs.  Once my kids are old enough to travel and sit in their seats for a game I'll be back to watching all of SJU's  games in person.  I've been to every stadium in the MIAC multiple times, and to many more throughout the country than even you oh wise one.  I will give you credit, though, as you do make it to a number of games, including playoff tilts, from a great distance away.

Oh, and by the way, I can appreciate your comments about the excitement of NHL games but you went way overboard by claiming that they are more exciting than watching SJU football.  SJU's tradition of having excellent teams coupled with the best stadium and fan support in all of DIII football make it the most exciting sporting event to watch in the country, period!!  Get with it, TDT.  You should be ashamed of yourself.

Go Johnnies!!!!

Thanks for the props, Dusty.

Keep up the good work at home, Veek.  We need more big families. ;)

I agree with you completely re SJU football & hockey - but then with my eyes I can't see the puck anyway - just the fights. ;D

TC

Got the Light of the Way pregame show fired up, ready to join the radio crowd today.  If I knew the weather was going to be this nice, I likely would have made the trip down.

GO JOHNNIES!

Jerry notes that there were "definitely 3 penalties" on the Oles' TD punt return last week on the pregame show.  Wow.
