RE: the pipe band...I need to do some checking, but I believe they're unable to play if the temperature dips below a certain level...something to do with the pipes cracking??

If they can't play, I can play a cd of pipe music I have...good stuff.
"Surprised?  If I woke up tomorrow morning with my head sewn to the carpet I wouldn't be more surprised than I am right now."

My grill will be there, but I have an alum meeting (FINS, u cheater!), so I'll be able to drop it off and pick it up, unfortunately... I'm working on arranging the meeting "fieldtrip" to see another tailgate in action...

Esq. - I just RSVP'd that I wouldn't be able to attend this meeting due to "other commitments". Where are your priorities? What the hell were they thinking when they planned that stupid meeting?

We'll take what we can get. Looks like the temp will be creeping up into the low 40's on Saturday. If it's warm enough for a kilt, it's warm enough for a bagpipe, I always say.

I'll plan on bringing some brats again from Manea's and  maybe some frog eyes.  Also, I dug through my CD's last night and found my Dan Air Scottish Pipe Band CD.  Let me know if I should bring it!

Touchdown Tommy

Yes obviously KR you live through chick magnets like myself.  I will keep the board updated on the pursuit of Ms. Wicker (KR: Note that she was the girl Max Mogren dated in Bernard Hall).

How many shotgunning contests will there be this week?  I am predicting an "upset" and Ritzy will knock Duffman off his 1 week throne as Champ.  Also, think a top finish by one of the old guys (Veek, finsleft, 56321, Carbo).

fins,

Are you cooking scrambled eggs before JR arrives?

Bus-
I'd cook the eggs, but last time I tried it, I couldn't keep them from sliding through the grill. Maybe Monmouth will bring some Scotch Eggs. Or else stop at the Legion and get one of those tasty pickled ones from the jar.

Yeah... you're a chick magnet like Snydz is an NBA quality baller. Stick to holding cameras while real men do real man things, you're actually good at that.

Are you kidding?  Did you see that video?  Unless 56321 has a 2" diameter esophogus (KR, did I spell that right?), the old folks won't stand a chance.

A tradition unrivaled...

OK girls, I've gotta be out for most of the day. Will check in later this eve. Looks like supplies are shaping up for Sat.

The Hamm's kegs are arriving tomorrow. Hamm's on tap, mmmmm! And Friday, it's Hamm's on tap, $1 off any RED drink, and "Drink your dad's beer" night. Hamm's, Schmidt, Old Style, Blatz, etc. for a dollar a can. All at the La Playette in beautiful downtown St. Joseph.

And, if my karma ever reaches triple figures, I'm considering a run for Governor.

Mr.Shoes

Does "Drink your dad's beer" include Old Mil? Whether it does or not, that's where I'll be Friday night. Kickass  ;D
Nice day, huh?
