Eight more days until the Rox play, any effects with that 57?
stanbob,
I misinterpreted your question. If the Molson-Coors/SAB Miller merger were to be finalized today, the Rockies will NOT be selling Hamms at Coors Field in eight days.  :o

My favorite quote:

QuoteI had a tough time when I was successful. I started to live my life based upon the image people had of me. It was all wrong, my head got turned. What brought me back to reality was breaking my leg.

Oh wait, that was Joe Theismann. :-[

For BDB, bennie and the other hockey fans out there, I found this wonderful "Letter from a Hockey Parent" on the hockey board of this other school I follow.  Enjoy. ;D
A painfully true letter! :D And as long as you brought up hockey, there are few things that I enjoy more than the Toronto Maple Leafs scoring...on themselves! There were some great games last night, anyone watch? ;D
High sticking, tripping, slashing, spearing, charging, hooking, fighting, unsportsmanlike conduct, interference, roughing... everything else is just figure skating.  ~Author Unknown

Huh? When there were 2 baseball games on, back to back?

But the last undefeated team in the league is on again tonight, I think.

And what could be better than drinking a ice cold Hamms and watching the Rockie clinch the series at Coors Field?

I only get Avs games (generally) so I told the ROX to close it out last night (they really wanted another home sellout) so I could watch the Calgary game tonight.  ;D

I found some Ole/Cobber Highlights on youtube.  Though I don't know if you could really call them highlights.  It also has bonus coverage of a USA chant by the ole fans and some mildly annoying flag running by the cobber fans.
