BDB I've got a housewarming gift for you at our next meeting...

Looks like Duffman spoke too soon.  I see a new poster with the moniker "Tommie Dad" lurking...

Well, I can provide Duff with only two pieces of wisdom concerning marriage:

First, work hard on creating personal space, but still sharing.  Always remember that what is hers is hers and what is yours is hers.

Second, if the going gets too tough, always remember this fact, which I tell my (still first and lovely) wife from time to time: A man owes his success to his first wife, and his second wife to his success.

Pat, if that name ever posts, can we really be held accountable for what might transpire?? ::)

Last night in the cabin!  :)

Are you having a raging keggar tonight?

No. Just more packing.  :P

We just had our current home turned over to us today by the contractor. Crazy.

Anybody want to buy a very nice, recently remodeled lake home in western Wiscy?  ;)

I KNOW PAT. THIS ISN'T D-3 REAL ESTATE.COM  ;D

I have posted my game photos from the St. Johns / Hamline game on www.johnniefootball.com

Mike Patnode scoring one of his three touchdowns on the day

As a bonus I have (non-photoshopped) evidence that Finsleft did, in fact, attend an away
game which did not involve multiple Fins radio appearances.  ;)

Will it be cold enough this weekend for TDT's pink sweater??

Hey BlueDevil Bob you rascal, is everybody settled in at your new home??  Hope things went off without a hitch.

Tommie Count (at least acknowledged): 2...Shouldabeen71 and Johnniebackup67--Anyone else hiding their allegiance?  This is a bit disturbing.  I hope my buddy Kilted Rat will have a chance to post his annual Tommie jokes.  Even better would be Mrs.KR getting on his computer in Des Moines and finding pictures of the infamous Betty...

Frank can you confirm or deny your anticipated attendance on Saturday morning in Collegeville?

I actually will be in St. Cloud on Friday and Saturday nights for a wedding, so yes I will be in attendance.  I'm switching from the Best WEstern on Highway 10 Friday night to the Best Western Kelly Inn Saturday night and they are overbooked the night before I can't check in before 3pm.  Therefore, I am not anticipating making the ceremony and don't have to be to the reception till somewhere in the 5:30-6pm range.

Is ritz driving all the kids away?

http://www.stcloudtimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071022/NEWS01/110220064

Growing up in ND (boo! hiss!), I've never understood the conference system in MN. All our schools were divided into classes by size (AAA, AA, A, 9-man when I graduated) and all the schools in each class were divided geographically into Regions and/or Districts. As a result, the level of competition in each geographic division was consistent. As I've never had it explained to me, I get the impression that conferences in MN cross class divisions. Is that correct? If so...why?
Nice day, huh?

Check out the part that says, "The last team above .500 was the 90-91 team.. "Ritzy happened to be a two-way All-Conference/All-State player on that team!!!

I wonder why the article fails to mention the career record of the 7th grade FB coach in Little Falls (32-4)...TOOT TOOT!! (There goes my on horn!!)   ;D

Few argue that Little Falls has not had much success on the field in three decades. Little Falls has sported a 33-100 record in its 30 years in the league, Olson said. It's an average of 1.1 win a year

This doesn't make any sense.  You only play 4 conference games a year?  According to their math, 3.33333 conference losses a year isn't that bad.  Mankato West would take that every year in the Big 9.

I have no idea why.  In the Big 9 we were 4A at Mankato West with 4 other 4A teams and 5 5A teams including the Rochester teams.  That gave us an advantage going into sections because we got points for losing to these teams while most of the other teams in our section were playing mostly 3A and some 4A teams.

Tommie Dad

Ritz72 that is why  I never posted. 1st year following MIAC football so I would have nothing knowledgeable to add other than SJU has the best team and fans.

I hope my sons next three years will be better then this one. He has lost more games this year than all four years of HS.

Johnnie

Ok...maybe I am way off base, but it seems to me that John Gagliardi is reaching another huge milestone....but I've seen no mention of it..here it is.....

By my count,  Eddie Robinson is (currently) the "most-games-coached" football coach in college football with 588 games coached.  [I added his wins, losses, & ties].

The next closest is John Gagliardi with 582 games coached [451 wins, 120 losses, and 11 ties].....If the Johnnies win out the regular season, and go deep into the playoffs, it seems to me that John will set that major milestone...

My question is this...Should I tell people how about this impending milestone, or would a surprise celebration after that game score point for me,  help my lovelife, and impress the ladies later that evening? ::)

I would keep it a secret for the aforementioned reasons. :-X Don't worry, no one ever reads this board so it'll stay a secret.
