I'm thinking Bethel could put a hurt on someone..... :-*

stanbob and oz- you dudes are cracking me up on the Wiscy board. Hilarious!

Pat's article and Keith's ATN column, and all the kudos on this board are making a Johnnie fan feel as good as he can on a bye week in the heat of the football season.

Is it too early to start ripping Bethel?

BTW, the sizzle is served.

The 4,700-word column is what keeps Keith from being more of a midweek presence on the message boards.

And yes -- what SJU fans have, I hope they do not take for granted. I was telling a friend who is aware of D-III and supportive of the site that if I ever need a pick-me-up for football, a shot of adrenaline to keep the sites going, that a game at SJU would do the trick.

I haven't read Keith's article yet but I think it's great too.

By the way, there ain't one person in the sea of 12,000 that takes anything at SJU for granted.

Oh, come now -- I think most of the under-12 set takes it for granted. ;)

Touchdown Tommy

Fins that is simply breathtaking.  I trust you introduced Charlie to the Finsleft Special tonite: Da Hamm's Terdy Pak...

Anybody going to see The Boss at the X tomorrow night?  I understand he'll be in the house...

Ritzy's wife must really be dropping the hammer on him since she saw his drunkenness and revelry at the Stiftungsfestivities after returning from sunny California last weekend.  Hope the Embassy Suites junket is still on (Frank? Mongo? Who else did you recruit Ritzy?)...

Our latest additions to the WIAC in game updates battle are missing, stanbob.  I wonder if Bobo can delete them since he's the owner of the thread...

Just like in the Holy Grail, when faced with a fierce rabbit with large, scary teeth... RUN AWAY!!!!

I find that a lot of my apres bar posts disappear by morning.

Are you sure you actually typed them in?  ???  ;D

I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Kudos to Keith and Pat and the latter's brothers for visiting Collegeville last Saturday and for the nice articles. You guys are the best.

As mentioned above already, the opportunities presented by d3football.com to meet such great people from around the nation are certainly appreciated.

Speaking of great people, I met the Shakopee High School volleyball coach this morning at the Holiday station in Chaska. He had on a Johnnie jacket, so I had to go up and introduce myself. He graduated in 1997. He lives in Chaska, teaches in Eden Prairie and coaches at Shakopee. His team beat the two-time defending state champions last night, Chaska. :'( Now Shakopee plays for the section championship tomorrow night against Eden Prairie.

stanbob & Oz. I share your affinity for wreaking havoc over at the WIAC board. There's only a couple of posters over there who "get it.' the rest have trouble spelling, much less posting a funny barb. Speaking of posting funny Barbs.............

Hey Oz, my favorite wine genre is Australian Shiraz. You have anything to do with that?

Now I'm going over to the WIAC board. I didn't know to check in on the In Game updates except for Saturdays. Usually there's so little action on the regular board during the week, I didn't think it was worth the efort I would have to put into two more clicks.

I doen't get it. What'es he talking about?

Fishing report from Duff.
This was all I could catch last night, although my partner did put a goliath sturgeon in the boat.
