Speaking of stale, Fins, looks like your karma went bad, you've dropped 3!

WTF? And I've been being so nice. I bring Hamm's on tap to the La. I bring Bagpipe entertainment to the Stiftungfestivities. And this is how I get treated?  Looks like the gubernatorial bid is out of the question.

Pardon my jump from the SCIAC board to this one but I just started reading the book "The sweet Season" about St. Johns.  Great book so far.  Sounds like a lot of great traditions and all at St. Johns

SUMMIT!!!!!

No, run, fins....i'll vote for you (a couple of times)
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Tom, I hope you enjoy the book.  Most of us Johnnies loved it.  I was a freshman on the team when it was written, so it brings back some great memories for me!

It's an even better read if you know the guys and/or have had the chance to check out a game at SJU!

Not sure who your team is (I'd guess Oxy) but if they ever play in Collegeville and you can come too, don't miss it!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Tom Brady

Nope, not an OXY fan.  I'm a Cal Lu guy and I would love to come up there some time for a playoff game between CLU and SJU......... ;D assuming that it might happen in the next 10 years????

Thanks maniac. As much my heart tells me to run, my head tells me that I just don't have the karma base to pull it off.
I'll just stick to smaller, more manageable tasks, like making sure all my buddies have the right kind of beer to drink, at the right prices, and at the right places.

I loved the book and so did every Johnnie I've ever talked to. I wondered, as I was reading it through red googles, if anybody not acquainted with SJU would like the book as much.

frankrickard

I thought the book was pretty good.  Although, since I was also a freshman at the time...the Gustie game part of the book sucked balls.

Hey Frank, you working tomorrow night, or just playing like the rest of us?

Mr.Shoes

Even my mother liked that book, and she's not a football fan.

I only played at SJU for one year and that was the one (Duffy and I go way back ;)). I sure picked the right year! (though 2003 would have been pretty sweet)
Nice day, huh?

Johnnie--I have followed the Cat/Griz matchup for quite some time.  I went to the 100th meeting betweent the schools and the Griz won like 31-3.  Not a good game for the Cats.  Plus I am more of a Griz fan myself.

Johnny fans-is monmouth coming to practice on your field tomorrow(friday)?  Cuz I heard that Coe is going to on "The Jake".

I was looking at stats from last week and I saw that Porta had almost 300 yds rushing against Auggie Tech and they only scored 17pts.  How is that possible? Turnovers or missed oppurtunities?  Also Johnny fans please keep me updated on sat. about the johnny game, I will go home at halftime to check things out.  Good luck against the Scots(although most likely you won't need it.)  THats all I got.

Old Fighting Scot

I could be wrong, but I doubt it....

If you photoshopped a big central-minnesota boy with his shoulder planted in his chest, then, that would look right.
