My favorite memories of Bethel games when I was in college were, ah,...um...can't really remember now...
C'mon, give me a break, it was the 70's. 8)

Fins, during the 70's we only played Bethel in 1978 and 1979.  After we were forced out from
behind the Pine Curtain.   :'(

Ah, I knew I could find this somewhere. Turns out it was filed away for posterity on my computer at home. Best. Bethel Moment. Ever.

(as always, click to embiggen)

ROR, those might have been your end zone shots I blended together to make that picture. Are they?

And yes, OleFan, that was Photoshopped ;)
Nice day, huh?

Wish I could take credit.  I didn't start taking game photos until 2005.

I checked, also, and they don't appear to be ours. I was positioned across the field at the end of the Johnnies bench and Ryan, not sure where his shots were from, couldn't find that particular play in our archive. from him.

Well, no wonder I don't remember!  ;)

I celebrate my 4000th post with a haiku:

The Royals are primed
but the Johnnies are rolling
Johnnie Monkey Stomp

To Whom It May Concern: Are there pics of said Halloween costume floating around cyberspace??

Ritz/Veek: Which one of you clowns are picking me up on Saturday morning?  I need transportation to Arden Hills.

I'll see if I have enough gas in the Gulfstream G550 to swing through Naples on my way to the game.  I am staying Friday in Inver Grove Heights, so I'm guessing its not on my way. + Veek will be earlier than I am!  My wife is pressuring my Mother In Law.  The room is booked at the ES.  I have myself, Frank for sure...Prez..ru in?  TC?? Anyone else??  The room has 2 beds hide-a-bed, and plenty of floor space.  all that for 160 + 15 parking  175 total.  If we get 6 that is $30 bucks each for 2 hours of free booze and a free breakfast... + seeing Frank and the Prez going wild in downtown MLPS!!!

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.
