Any news out of Arden Hills on Flannery's injury?
Also, a person who appears to be his grandfather posted last night and then deleted it 5 minutes later.  In the post he said his unnamed freshman grandson, who is having a great year, would be ready.

Hahaha I saw that "Scrubby" had registered again, but didn't see his short lived post.  That guy was off his rocker.  Pretty funny that you caught that shizz 71.

Ritzy: The President is about 85% for the Suites.  Have to clear one item from the calendar (btw: What was that bit in your previous post about your Mother in law?? I was confused by your incoherrent drivel).  Still no word from the Veekster if he can stop and pick me up (Maybe he is just waiting on pins and needles for The Sizzle's weekly work??).  Otherwise I'll be up early hitch hiking to that garbage pit in Arden Hillls...

I saw the post, too, but didn't recognize the guy from the past. I was also too lazy to figure out who his grandson was, but my first guess was Flannery.

Reminds me of a BC (at the time) grandpa from the 2000 game. We were sitting in our car waiting to get the hell off campus when some old guy came up to us and started gushing about how his grandson scored the winning TD. Obviously, we didn't want to hear anything about it. Then he shoved three random white caps (you know, the ones that were so popular with the kids back at that time ;)) through the window and said, "Here. Have these." I think I still have it, stupidly enough.
Nice day, huh?

Okay sports fans, we will be hosting the Stiftungsfestivities at Royaland this Saturday. It will be in the Soho parking lot. The entrance for this parking lot is off of Highway 51/Snelling Avenue N. We will start gathering around 9:00 a.m. with the grills going by 10:30. Bring a culinary delight to share. KR may be bringing something comparable to Dutch letters for the tailgate. The Arth chili will also be served. Sounds like the weather should be fine.

For those of you unfamiliar with campus, the soho lot can be found by taking an immidiate left as you enter campus from snelling. After taking that left, the lot will be on your right about 50 yds down that road.

Thanks a lot!  It saved me from asking.

Anyone interested in getting together after the game at Lindey's Prime Steak House, which is very close to Bethel (3600 Snelling Avenue N)? One of the best steak restaurants in Minnesota.

My "little girl" is going to New York next Friday, so that is where all my spare change is going, TDT.

Can I park at this soho lot for the game?  Any chance I wont be able to get tickets when I get there, even if it is close to  kickoff?

Yeah, soho is fine for parking during the game.  I don't know about the ticket situation though.

I noticed this on Bethel's website:

QuoteAdmission to basketball, football, hockey, and volleyball games is $5.00/adults and $2.00/students. Admission is free for children under 10 years of age.

but this in the press release for the SJU game:

QuoteGates to Royal Stadium will open at 10:30 a.m. Ticket prices will be $5 for all adults, and free for Bethel students (must show I.D.) and children ages 12 and under.

So they're gonna make a few more bucks off of SJU students?  That's rather anti-ecumenical of them :P

Well Duff, I guess River Falls set the tone.

At least Bethel isn't charging $3.00 to park a picnic table in the parking lot.  ;D
