MIAC watchers, just got back from Arden Hills this afternoon. It was good to see the Cobbs rebound well and come out and take over this game. The reigning MVP had a great day    17 for 110 on the ground and 16-19 for 148 in the air with a TD each way.  I feel good about this Cobber team and am looking forward to the rest of the year and hopefully a playoff run.

Whoa Nelly, nice to see you down there, I slipped Bobby your number so I am sure you will be hearing from him.

Auggie fans: what is the deal with MLV?? I heard conflicting reports today, so someone please set me straight.

SJU: I am hoping you guys take care of business next weekend and then send the Olies up to Moorhead to get back to back beat-downs put on them.

RB George Rogers, about the upcoming season:

sjusection105,

Always great to see you. I got there late, but it was fun to watch the younger guys play. Should be a great match-up next week of the unbeatens.

Solid game by the Johnnies and nice to see a lot of young guys get in the game.  Tailgating was great--Gestapo stayed away and the kool-aid, Hamm's and Veek-bevies flowed well!  Duff and partners dominated the hang-your-balls competition.  Good to see all.  I will take a day or so to contemplate the upcomign game before spouting off!

1998--weak effort.

Great day in Collegeville and nice seeing everyone.

Thanks Fins for the koolaid.  It was refreshing.  Nice blue cups, too.  What the hell was up with those?  My red cups are almost out of stock so a new supply will be picked up this week.

Thanks for the burgers, JR.  They taste better when you grill them. :)

Nice to see the rent-a-cops maintaining their distance today.  The only time they were possibly going to get involved was when Finsleft joked with an Auggie player's mother before the game.   ;D

I'm considering renting a porta-pottie and towing it to Stiftungsfest events after hearing Fins' story at halftime. ;D

Can't wait until next week when the SJU D dominates St. Olaf.
Go Johnnies!!!

I would like to see Olaf win saturday then loose to Concordia.  3way tie and if things go right all 3 get in.

I'm sure this will be on the news in Minnesota and elsewhere, but just saw it. Minnesota-Morris student killed by goalpost in game-ending celebration.

ROR - I was joking about the rent-a-cops getting involved but I failed to include a smiley face.  I have now added that.

As for the other story I'll have to let your old classmate fill you in on the details of that next week.

What happened to your Bobby "The Brain" Heenan picture?  That one was superior to the Captain.

Hope to see you next week.
Go Johnnies!!!

Veek,

Amazing how missinag a  ;D can change the meaning.

I'll go back to "The Brain" in a couple of days.  I thought I'd go with the Skipper
until after the Queens get their asses kicked by the Packers tomorrow.

I plan to be in attendance next week.  Look forward to seeing you there.

Make sure you put on your Off before coming on the board tonight, the SMITE bugs are out!

I went from 34 to 26 in a little under 3 hours!

Must be a lot of Olaf and Auggie Tech fans with smiting power out there!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

KR-perhaps the Mount fans were not happy with your post.
Bus knew the blue cups would fool the rent-a-cops.
Anyone see Laker-by the baseball field, perhaps. ;D
