Good luck to the Johnnies as well.  It would be nice if we could have an all MIAC final to the west region.  I don't know how likely it is, but it would be nice!

LAB, any chance you would be in Collegeville tomorrow?  I know several people who
would like to buy you a Hamm's.

Rumor that won't die:  Dusty SJU will be sporting his tight Under Armour gear tomorrow in honor of the beginning of the playoffs.

Bus Ticket booked to UWW, short Bus is full of all necessary supplies.

Nelly,  I'll be sitting there tall and pround at the JAKE tomorrow.  I would go to Mick's before hand, but I think they are closed until 12:00,  Haugo's old hangout, Ralph's, would be a consideration, but they closed the place down so I dont know what I will do pregame, but I will be there that's for sure.

You'll enjoy this, I had Lucier in the classroom yesterday recruiting a couple of my kids, he did not expose the calves or triceps though, I think he saves those for on campus visits.

On a sidenote, I think Stephen-Argyle may have been able to take Breckenridge this year...I am not kidding.

So we hitting up the La tonight for some Hamm's and your dad's beer?  My night is free after 5:30pm.  I think I'm going to pick up some of the Miller 1855 Brew and see how that is.

Recently conversation with a Johnnie alum produced the following quote:

QuoteKofoed to Gearman compared to Keating to Elliott is a wash.

How many other Johnnie fans believe that those QB/WR tandems are equal?

Lucier must have had a winter jacket on to hide his triceps.

Why doesn't Mick's open until noon now?  They used to open 10:57 AM sharp.

Is that Stephen-Argyle's 9 against Breckenridge's 11?  That would be really impresive.  Good year for your kids though.

On a 1-10 scale----

Keating 8, Blake 10

At this point in careers---

Kofed 6, Gearman 8

18-14 Keating and Blake----

That's a pretty close to how I'd compare them. I think Kofoed has the potential to be much better than Keating, but I can't see Gearman topping Football Jesus. When John starts designing plays that put Gearman at RB so he has the ball as much as possible, then I'll think about it. Until then, Blake is way above him. Every single time he touched the football, he could have taken it to the house. That's how good I think he was (is).
Nice day, huh?

That said, the combinations have potential to be a wash, if only because Kofoed would edge out Keating. Kofoed is taller and has a better arm and is just as elusive. He hasn't won quite as much as Keating, but he will. Time will tell, and I can't wait to watch :D

OAS- Not sure which Johnnie alums you're talking to, but they sound as delusional as AO on a bad day.

No way Kofoed-Gearman holds a candle to Keating-Elliott.  Maybe they approach the trail of Ws and stats of the former combo next year, but certainly not right now.

Prediction for tomorrow:  Monmouth wins the coin toss, and scores first as the Johnnie D gets to know their schemes.  From there out, it's a blood bath as the home team wins in at least a monkey stomp.

It might be as ugly as the Olaf or UST games, but I'm hoping that the playoff gods at least scheduled a challenge for the J's, since we haven't had a close game in a while.  Methinks the rest of the West region is certainly tough enough...

Go Johnnies!!!

I hope you are right about the Office Nelly, that would be sweet. Plus a pitcher or 2 would definitely help me keep warm during the game.
