Well, bethel got the playoff gorilla off their backs today, but not without a price.  Wide receiver Kyle Lee went down with an ankle injury, and their already inury plagued linebackers lost senior steve leubke.  They looked pretty solid, same run offense as usual and completed the passes that they needed to.  Do we have a chance against uwec next week?

of course you do...represent the miac proudly...

On second thought, BU has just won their first playoff game ever, they will be hosting a second round game, and they are questioning whether they have a chance???

Sounds like a Gagliardi sandbagging-job...

They're trying to pull the wool over all of our eyes!!  ::)

UWEC is on their fifth QB, I believe. They don't look all that strong, but they have been winning ugly for most of the year. They were picked to be in the bottom two or three in the WIAC before the season, but have played well for what they have. Their coach was named COY in the WIAC this year. They have two good WR's in the Hull brothers, and a very good running back.

G&BBU - In fact, like it or not, you are the favorite to win...Not an underdog anymore.  Now it's time for BU to live up to the expectations.

Central game is over.  They win.  Looks like we're heading south next weekend.

And our game is over.  Congrats Johnnies.  Great second half and two minutes.  Keep the feeling into next week.  We're the Bane of Central and it would be nice to stay that way.

I'm just asking because I don't know anything about uwec.  I know they're probably bruisers cause they're in the wiac, but just wondering more about their team.

All right, I'm out-- good win, shook off some cobwebs and woke up the buzzsaw after it slept for 8 quarters straight.  Let's keep it going all the way to Pella now!

Great win. Wore this old man out. Hate it when I have to get the Redenbacher's out in the first half.

Just make sure that you have some on han for next week 57.  I may just eat it all week, but am worried that it could spoil the magic.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Congrats to the Johnnies for your win today. Like RFB mention, i have also enjoyed the banter that your fans created during this long week and learning about your traditions (i.e the burgers, cold weather and of course great game-day atmosphere). Best wishes to you guys in the next round of the big dance.

Hate to say this but I think I will be cruising the Panama Canal next Saturday. Didn't plan that well.

I know comparing scores- wins and losses is suspect...
 e.g BV over Bethel  21-16
However...
St. John's beats River Falls  21-10
River Falls beats Eau Claire 27-20
Of course Bethel has a chance next Saturday...
Bethel 21-EauClaire 10
Dec. 1  St. John's at Bethel(Again!)

Save room for Dutch Letters for dessert!  Congrats on the 'W', Johnnies!  Here we go again...and yes...we're more nervous in Pella than you probably are...from a historical standpoint...ugh!

Looking forward to what has been an annual match-up for us.  Good luck.

And always remember...if you ain't Dutch...you ain't much! ;D

Seems to me that St. John's has to get by Central first on Nov. 24.  Don't count your chickens...........
