What did everyone think about the Week 3 match up between Buena Vista and Wartburg.  My feelings are that BVU really stunk up the joint.  Any opinions?

Ah, I don't get it.   ???

Drivel from people we will never hear from again.

Oh you will hear from me again.  I do have an off the wall question.  What ever happened to kid from GA who was drafted by the Raiders?  I know this was a few years ago but was kind of interested in hearing if he is still playing football.

You should go ask your mum.  I think she knows... :o

Thats funny...Your mum just asked me to remind you to take your pill for your excessive bowl movements.

"Bowl" movements?!?!

Help! Help!  I can't eat my cereal.  The bowl keeps moving!  Get me some meds, quick!

Was that somehow a Stagg "Bowl" reference?

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Like the next Stagg winner.

Well lets hope so.  It would be nice to see a changing of the guard at the top of the D3 nation.

Anyone but MUC.  Hell, I'd even want Bethel there before them.

OT:  it's good to see Chester Taylor have a great day for the Vikes.  With a QB this may have been a 10-6 season.  Maybe Childress has talent with the draft.  Did he pick the Purple Jesus or was it someone else in the organization?  I hope they have an eye for a QB.

Did anyone else notice that every time they have featured the story about Peterson's dad and childhood that he gets hurt in the next game.

Correct me if I am wrong but was this not the case when his dad attended the first game at OU, and I saw ESPN talking about this in depth before last weeks game and his injury.

Gags got away with one there.  Personally, I didn't think the refs did that poorly yesterday save that one call that JG was upset about and one more where they determined that the Redlands guy caught the pass when he dropped it.  The refs do the best jobs they can and, overall, they do outstanding jobs.  On some of the penalties that mae the whole SJU fan base boo, the refs were right on from what I saw.  To the SJU people: we're starting to sound like a bunch of Linfield posters regarding the refs.  The rest of the MIAC posters here still seem to be balanced.
Our radio announcers tell us how we should feel about the refs. ;)

I did and I stand by it...they missed at least 3 calls

I haven't looked through the entire photo album from the game quite yet, but I can't imagine any picture will beat this one:

One last comment for the night...it was great to meet Zip and thanks for bringing the polish sausage...fantastic, Veek did a great job on the grill.  I love getting over to the festivities, and wish I had more time to spend with the great Johnnie nation, but I think you all know that other duties cut into my time, in closing...I and the other broadcaster's appreciate the goodwill from you all...Finsleft, thanks for the article, it was great!!

Veek

Fins - you missed a good game and some good laughs on Saturday.  LBean came through with the kool-aid but we were a little afraid to drink it after a visit from the new rent-a-cop.  Little was the operative word in that sentence.

What are the chances of you making it down to Pella for Saturday's contest?

LBean - are you making the trek down South?

VOJ - I am glad you enjoyed it and I knew that you would.  I think I can speak for the entire Johnnie Nation and many others that you and your fellow broadcasters are superb and we are extremely fortunate to have you behind the microphone on behalf of SJU sports.

Go Johnnies!!!
