The 1977 Wabash game is the most disappointed I have EVER been about the
outcome of a sporting event.     Coming off the 1976 national championship and so many players back, we all thought it was almost an automatic.

The air was completely sucked out of stadium that day.  (I don't think it had
a name in 1977?)

Didn't think we'd all need to 26 years for another championship.  I think a 2 year wait would be acceptable.
