Someone's a little dizzy after their long day of travel, I think.  Enjoy the game, though! ;)

Any word yet on Wetzell playing Saturday...or do we have to wait till game time to find out?

According to Coach Johnson Wetzell will play... ouch, that's really got to hurt.

Didn't see anyone post about this blurb from Shooter yesterday:

The University of St. Thomas will use a national consulting firm to assist in hiring a football coach, but Gordon Shaw, formerly of the Gophers, remains a logical choice.

The word that I heard was that Gordy was a bit bitter about losing his role with the Gophers...methinks he would rather be at NDSU than UST then...

Is the O-Lineman from Mount that good to win the Gagliardi Trophy?  If so, has he garnered any invites to try out for pro scouts or arena league teams?

Christmas shopping.....at least I found a present for TDT.

Maybe you could save a huge expense and go get a cow pie.  I don't think TDT would know the difference.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Battle for soul of St. Thomas takes a turn for the worse by columnist Katherine Kersten

As the Tommie football program has slid into the abys it also appears the rest of the University is following them right into the same hole.  Seems as though Bishop Flynn will be off the UST board once he retires and the trustees have voted not to have an archbishop chair the board in the future.. an obvious move towards secularization.

X-Mas tree decorations, with a big red star on top Duff?  ::)

Surprisingly, there's not even any SJU items on the Duff X-mas tree :o

Hey Duff, how about some Bethel gear for Christmas? An addition to your hat collection, maybe? :D

Interesting stuff... appears as though The Almighty has been replaced by the Almighty Dollar at Cretin & Summit.

That happened a long time ago according to many alumni.  Remember, it went co-ed!  {gasp!}

I am not a big Kersten fan, and this article she illustrates why-- here she shows her true colors.  She often rails about the lack of morality in society and in politicians, and now UST isn't Catholic enough for her.

Kudos to UST for trying to determine a consistent approach to its business plan.  You could tell at their graduation speech (remember the Tommy Award winner?) a few years ago that something was going to have to give.  I don't doubt that UST will continue to flout how its law school is more Catholic than others...

Oh that's why I like KK... a non_completely_leftist voice in an utterly leftist paper.

Indeed Esquire;  That's precisely it!  She is showing her true colors... she's a columnist.

The end of her story goes on to describe how religous institutions are pressured into to the same kind of spiritual blandness.  It's time to stand up my brother and be accounted for.
