It can get real hairy playing that Catholic Roulette.

You can do what I did.  I (a protestant) married a catholic.  We had a child and then we had twins (we were told it was triplets so for a while it weas real scary).  Then I got fixed.  Shortly thereafter I started the classes to become catholic.  No problem.

I have to say that Lutefisk is horrible but good Swedish meatballs are great IMO.

A Swedish massage is ok.

Swedish meatballs+Swedish massage= Swedish special sauce  :P :P

We just sold the old Fins family homestead of 50 years to a couple with 9 kids and one on the way. A mutual acquaintance told me they want to have 12.  :o Plus they home-school.

Their house would be a decent size school district in North Dakota.  ;D

That would have played AA football....

gday Oz how are things down under?

Well, thanks for asking.  We're just starting the hardcore Christmas season Oz-style.  Swimming pools, bbq's, the beach... and Santa in shorts.  It took a bit of getting used to, but I've started coming around to the idea that Christmas means 100 degrees and sunburn.

If Christmas means 100 degrees and sun burn.  Pass me a Red Stripe and lite me a up a fine cigar, because I need a beach to sit on.

bennie, some day I'll have to get the story of how you became a Jackets fan.  They have some nice players, and look like they are playing together as a team. We'll see what happens in the end. I can only really follow one team in the East (Caps) and one in the West (Wild). I have a son who likes a number of teams, both in hockey and NFL. He also follows players as well as teams.

I'm heartened to see that DF2004, has joined Klop as a regular here, while not defecting from their IIAC roots. Welcome. The more the merrier.

+k to you for that.  I like the MIAC PP.  There is some interesting things and plus it remindes me of my Grain Belt that I can not buy in IL ???

But believe me, come football season SJU will be my second favorite to BVU.

Duffman, if you use the method of contraception they taught you at that retreat you went to, it could be a lot sooner than two years out. ;D

Ha!  I'm sure every married Catholic has this same story, but the wife-to-be and I were quite amused during marriage classes when the natural birth control couple said with a straight face that they wanted and planned for every one of their seven children.

Sorry if I offend but that sounds like one of those weird families where the kids look like their heads could rotate 360 degree and vomit pee green soup at the same time.

My wife has 9 siblings, not that unusual for a Stearns County farm family from the 1960's. However, I grew up in a farming community in Wright County and there were several families who had over a DOZEN children. One family had TWENTY-ONE children. I mean, the last half-dozen must have just dropped out, while doing housework, no need to induce labor, that's for rookies!
One tough farm woman I know, never missed milking cows even when delivering a child the same day :o She did, however, only have six kids. No home-schooling, there are cows to milk and calves to feed ;)
I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same in Lake Wobegone
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I think this is the video we were going to end up watching, so I thought I would just get it over.

Gotta love Monty Python.

I would be happy to see a UWW win tomorrow but I don't think it will happen.  MUC has too many horses and a coaching staff that only knows how to win.

Jay - I hope your surgery is a success and you recover quickly.

Fins - are you ice fishing this weekend?

That entire movie is fantastic, if a little bizarre. Granted, it's Monty Python, so it's fantastic because it's bizarre...
Nice day, huh?
